@@Mr_B_last My parents did mission work for the Moravian Church and Children's Home near Bethel in Alaska. Some of the people seemed to have the power to do unnatural things like making sick animals well instantly, foretelling events of calamities, and stuff like that. As a kid, it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up being around them. KZbin has a video of a sleight-of-hand magician who interviewed a Monk who levitated on camera right in front of him. However, the power of the Holy Spirit answering my parents' prayers from my earliest memories until they passed kept any doubts about God's existence and power from ever starting. I've also recognized that God's protection is on us through occasions when we are trying to leave but we can't find a wallet or car keys. We stop to ask God for His help and He answers us. When we get to an intersection we see that it's possible we could have been in the collision that happened if we hadn't been delayed. I've seen enough of God's handiwork to know that there is always a reason why things are the way that they are so we always thank God for His safety and deliverance.

Watch a few videos of street preachers and a good portion of the angry profanity-laced responses are demons manifesting through their hosts. I've seen the street preachers identifying the demonic manifestations that I didn't recognize at first. So I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. A missionary couple visiting a Buddhist Temple in China experienced a Monk suddenly look in their direction and levitate horizontally down the stairs towards them screaming in English as his face twisted into a mask, "We know who and what you are, and if you don't leave here now we will kill you.". They turned around and left the Temple right away. Later they were told that the Monk had never spoken English before that moment. This is the kind that I can recognize better than the more subtle ones.

I had terrible weird dreams and I woke up at 2-5 am (don't remember the time) from the dream and went into the bathroom and in the mirror I saw a long scratch on my back I cut my nails and I sleep on my stomach with my arms going outward so I do believe it was a spirit that did that I do remember in the dreams it was the worst I've ever felt ever, in the dream I was in my house and it was super dark I felt like my breathing was limited it was extremely realistic and when I woke up I was so glad it was a dream

The same thing could be said for anything really. Not trying to be rude. I think what Christians feel as demonic power is a very real thing. But I think what that is , isn't demon, but what you're feeling is that someone is giving in to their animalistic instincts with no care for how it affects anyone. That's how I define evil , but I'm not religious, or spiritual much these days. As much as I'd like to be. It's not that I don't want to believe in God and the devil. I just think there's more likely explanations for everything. And I think we can all be good to each other and act with empathy

For what it's worth, if anything, I used to attend a very small church in Southern California for a few years. I'm not Latino but it was mostly a Latino church. Wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ. Anyway, just at our Bible study in the middle of the week, Hugh Ross (and a friend of his) came along! I forget who invited Hugh Ross, probably our Bible study leader, but in any case no one really expected him to show up to a small ethnic Bible study, yet he did, and he evidently did so to encourage us! In addition he was one of the kindest and most humble men I've ever met. Very earnest and sincere. No pretensions or pretenses to him. Very honest. There is no guile in him, to borrow a phrase about Nathaneal in the Gospel of John. And this is despite the fact that our church is a theologically Reformed church , but Ross isn't Reformed as far as I know, so quite theologically different from us too. Yet he never exuded anything but respect and humility toward us and for us. And I've had occasion to see Ross here and there in other things over the years as well. Anyway, point being, I have no doubt Ross believes he's telling the truth (and I'd personally say he is telling the truth, not merely that he believes he is telling the truth). At a minimum, I wouldn't take on board criticisms about his character since they simply wouldn't hold water if one knows his character. At most, the skeptic might say Ross is deluded or similar, but for those who know him, questions or concens about his character aren't an issue. He's not lying.

Especially back when Ken back was with Kim Riddlebarger who is of course Reformed as well. Not suggesting Ken is *not* still with Kim Riddlebarger's church, he could still very well be at the church, but just when I first knew Ken that's where he was. I don’t necessarily think the examples he gave prove demons are real. I think Jesus saying demons are real prove they are. I think the examples he gave can be proved by other explanations. I think the best evidence for demons other than Jesus would be events like the holocaust. I don’t think human beings can commit that type of evil alone.

As The Lord as my witness, I came 1 on 1 on a demon, in 2014. I don’t talk about it but I feel like God is wanting me to witness that the same dark power that had been attacking me and my wife in the house we lived in for over a year. Finally, after my wife and I separated and she left me and our two kids, this thing came one on one with me when I was alone in the house one morning. I was scared, more scared than I had ever been in my life, I couldn’t see it but I knew it was there, the room got so cold like walking into a freezer and it was standing in the doorway…my Bible was laying on my nightstand but I was so scared I didn’t think I could even move but I asked God to help me and I got the strength to grab my Bible and I sat up and told this thing “leave, you have no authority here by the blood of Jesus Christ I command you to leave!” Then I said it again even louder holding on to my Bible, like a skydiver hangs on to his parachute, I said “you have no authority here in Jesus name I command you to LEAVE!” And the cold was gone and it was gone and I never had anything like that again. I took my kids and moved a month later. My Pastor who had been to our house many times later said he could always feel something dark in that house…now he tells me lol. Praise Jesus! Praise God 🙏🏻

That's a stretch. There's too much to co-ordinate, especially if he's not visible to her from inside. The simplest explanation is most often the correct one. Assuming collusion requires more faith in materialism than demonic activity, unless you have a bias against accepting it.

I always believe in a higher power but have not prayed since I was young. 6 months ago every night for over a week I would have three or four dreams at night of the sickly, gory demons tearing me apart so scary then any movie ever made. I would wake up so scared I couldn't believe how bad the dreams were. I finally prayed to God to take them away. I've never had them since. His endowed chair at the university was in 'the Public Understanding of Science,' which isn't zoology (his doctoral thesis was on the nature of chickens pecking), yet we are right to pay attention to his pronouncements, even if we disagree with them. Just because a scientist isn't doing research doesn't mean that he still doesn't use the scientific method. You may disagree with Dr Ross, but I would recommend against denigrating him. Perhaps he is a 'former physicist.' 'Is he wrong?' I think is a more profitable question.

Only in Micah 6:5 is he given true witness. All this is why the Scripture of Truth admonishes for Its own Divine Credulity that it be " Right divided" and carefully interpreted and discerned because it is laced with falsehoods!

The truth is that all souls are on their own path to redemption, and playing a set role in each day, hour, and minute of creation. The roles are predetermined by the evolving plan of co-creation, but how you play the one assigned to you determines your journey in the afterlife and in future incarnations. It is very difficult to turn low consciousness souls "on autopilot" from the path of sin they are on, and it will only happen when they themselves question what they are doing with their lives. Many people don't want to hear this but it's true. People with demons will be have in this manner.Theyvwill hear you praying to God about them and they aren't even in the same room with you. I know this because I was asking God for deliverance for my son's girlfriend. I was praying to God for him to cast out the demons out of her. I was whispering and praying this and she had the music blaring. The walls were shaking from the bass. How did she hear exactly what I was praying about? She confronted me. And told me that I was talking about her. Then she started attacking me. She was literally gnashing her teeth like it says in the Bible. People in Hell do this to Jesus Christ when he visits Hell. Then they start to blasphem Jesus Christ. I have encountered a lot more experiences. This is just one. Trust me Satan is real.

No offense to the good Dr. Ross, but his examples are not ideal as they can be easily explained away. The audience heckling them just sounds like typical society nowadays, where individuals hurl insults at those they disagree with en masse. The possessed woman in California sounds like she is on drugs, I have seen this behavior as has many others who live in big cities with drug epidemics. The "warlock" who memorized every Bible verse, maybe he did, or maybe he memorized the most common verses and was willing to bet that someone wasn't going to pick out something obscure. This warlock making individuals perform tasks and having sex slaves is classic cultish behavior. I do believe in the supernatural - however, if this was the evidence presented to make an unbeliever into a believer; it falls short in my opinion.

I believe in demons and possessions and the like but this story doesnt prove anything. Its like some religious people either make things up or just have this weird wishful thinking and see everything as demonic. As humans we should aim to prove phenomenon that we do not understand and explain it to be able to tell it apart from demonic activities. It is almost a dangerous thing to assume things like that. I believe in the negative and in these demonic phenomeon but one can still be a believer while still be willing to pursue the truth and question things rather than dismiss any other possibilities.

The correct term for " demons" is devils as in AKJV exclusively. This is not just a moot point of dogma. The Authorized King James Translation of The Holy Bible has a Divine Code and when synomic terms are substituted the Code is broken.
