This is definitely Uryu's arc and him shining the way he has is spectacular. He's willing to go to deep lengths to achieve his ultimate goal, the information he's learned from his grandfather's writings and other materials certainly set his decision. We will see how things turn out.

I really think Uryu’s choice to join Yhwach is one of the most fascinating twists in the series. It’s not just about revenge or loyalty; it’s about him coming into his own as a Quincy while wrestling with the weight of his family’s past. The idea that his hatred for Shinigami might have been a mask for his own guilt over his grandfather’s death? That’s such a raw and human trait. And the whole “antihero” vibe? Perfect for him. Uryu isn’t someone who fits neatly into any box...he’s too smart, too calculating. Even his willingness to deceive his friends shows how far he’s willing to go for what he believes is right. It’s painful, but it’s also what makes him so compelling. I’m curious to see how the anime expands on this. The darker tone already feels more fitting for Uryu’s storyline, and I hope it gives us even more insight into his choices. I think that Uryu plays his part as best he can. The fact that his friends still try to reach him speaks volumes even now

No, he does not agree with yhwachs vision of the future. When he nodded to ichigo before he shot him, that was an acknowledgment imo. But he has to gain and keep trust with at least the majority of the SS until he has the chance to undermine wahrwelt. Also, it's probably true he holds a bit of animus towards Shinigami in general, but I still think he considers renji a friend of his, and something seemed off about that chest shot.

Uryuu is as stubborn as Ichigo, but he has a calmer demeanour. He acts confident and unhinged, but his caring always shows when his friends are in trouble. He gets angry at Ichigo especially. Example: Fullbringer arc, earlier against Mayuri. So far he couldn't communicate his plan directly, maybe he didn't have faith in his friends so he decided to take responsibility for himself like the Red Hair Protagonist, but he didn't betray anyone. He's different than Sasuke Uchiha.

Uryu-manga- dissapears for quite abit of the last arc and only has one actual notable battle which is mostly off screen (against Hashwat), then comes in from the save with an arrow from his father Uryu-anime-given actual reasons to join the Quincies, kills unrestrained Bankai using Squad Zero member, nearly killed Shikai Ichigo and True Bankai Renji (and whatever path cour 4 decides to add for him afterwards) so yeah i gotta say Uryu in the anime is getting quite abit more screen time lol.

Uryu’s ambitions as a child were as pure and honorable as they could be. He is a better person than the sternritters, all the more of a reason why his friends should try to return him to the light.

also manga Uryu- I get to use the "A" once which ends up failing anyways! anime Uryu-uses "A" at least twice before the Hahwat fight, gets Holy form, a hoard of new Quincy abilites and even gets to use Blut Vene to great effect on screen! lets go!

Ryuken has tried to protect his son from Quincy's curse all this time, and now Uryuu has to fight it alone. It's logical because his life depends on Yahwe's whim, so backstabbing his master from a close distance is very reasonable. Even if Uruhara came up with a plan that would prevent young Ishida from joining the army, Wanderreich would learn about it, Yahwe would learn about it and wouldn't hesitate to Auswahlen Uryuu from the shadows.

I disagree, Fullbring Arc was Ichigo's Arc even tho.. chad was included. For the longest time i have speculated that Chad had Something else about him...since he showed his Diablo move, and when i first saw hell and by then we had already seen Hell Gates, so..my gut Feeling says HELL is about "Chad"

@ska4666 Yep, most probably will be the longest. I mean tybw already takes the no 1 spot with 218 chapters and it could've even been 300 if Kubo would've/could've added all the new scenes were getting and still will get with the current anime. I think one pieces Wano is the longest, pretty sure under 200 chapters and Naruto is Chunin exams under 100 chapters. But when it comes to words (like actually written text) then One Piece takes the first place, Naruto second and Bleach has probably the least words/text in it as the Tybw specifically is packed with fights even some chapters with very less conversations

spoilers (actually theory) I think uryu started questioning his situation after he found out that Ichigo is Quincy (because uryu is Quincy but he fights against his friends) and seeing Yhwach as a monster he started thinking of a way to help his friends. And uryu injuries his friends but still his friends stays alive. so uryu don't want to kill
