its not about how dark the show is, its about the inner struggles of what goes on inside you. Of course the dark atmosphere helps but this show really focus on the whole concept of "super hero's do not kill their enemies". What happens when our hero goes against everything he stands for? No matter how many times you put the villain in jail, they'll always come back and kill even more people. How do you stop something knowing that? Killing them is the only solution. It almost happened to Matt in season 3. Thats why i LOVED season 3. Daredevil almost became another punisher at that point. I hope these themes return in a way because i think thats what really makes that show special

This is the issue with Fiege he wants to make everything in the MCU the Fiege way, it seems like he can’t stand it when other creators take a marvel property and make it better than what he’s done in the MCU same issue with agents of shield that show did not get 7 seasons for no reason and he was not involved with the show and it still was a great show, he was involved in the horrible show Inhumans and that tanked badly. Instead of continuing Daredevil from Netflix and just make it more connected to the MCU than before him and the team at marvel studios wanted to make their own version and it clearly sucked

I still think Daredevil deserves a movie. I'm really tired of these premium IP's being diluted by low budget tv. At 8 episodes long it's practically a movie length anyway, just doesn't make any sense. Never been a fan of Cox as DD either but I know i'm in the minority on that one

Would you be SHOCKED to learn that major characters like Batman and SpiderMan would benefit MAJORLY from a tv show? Their stories and worlds are so grand, it’s better at times to do shows than movies for characters who have stories to big or large to tell in movies.
