And your point? Did you or those of US who gain popularity actually design the jeans, pay for the shipping, labor, utilities, etc. etc. etc.? And it’s no secret or rocket science that ALL products of ANY kind has a considerable markup. Let’s respect the artistry of creatives who study, labor and produce innovation that keep our world progressive!

Looking at the “distressing” process I’m left wondering, whats the point? Doesn’t everyone want high quality garments that will last a long time? What’s the point of having good quality yarns, looms and fabrics just make fuck them up?

you got a lot of info wrong about these amiri jeans bro. theres a lot of info on how they’re mad. the denim is aged italian denim for years, bundled together with rubber bands so that they get that natural ribbed effect, it is not laser made neither it is hand rubbed a few minutes. but the zippers are riri zippers correct.
@Shiftfashiongroup Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Aging denim is done with processes like stone washing, sanding and blasting. The cuff process can be done with bands. But the upper leg distressing we have never seen done with elastic bands. We have made thousands of denim in various countries. But if you have a video that you can share we would love to see.

You are grossly underestimating the cost of made in LA denim and cost of washing. To say these are simply stonewashed is inaccurate. You are undervaluing the work. Not an Amiri fan but I have years of experience manufacturing denim in the US.
