I didn’t like NMIXX’s debut, but I am actually really excited for their first comeback. I feel like JYP will either learn from the response, or this is what they were planning the whole time - the whole “all publicity is good publicity” strategy. There’s just so much talent and money behind this group. I think they will have an interesting future.

@@sunnygirl7669 from my experience, jyp use current trends in kpop to debut a group. They take fashionable aspects of well know groups, perfect the technique and then add a little something uniquely jyp. That’s clearly what they have tried here. The layout of the song gave me very clear aespa vibes. But the music felt empty and loud and like your stereotypical gen 4 boy group. Usually jyp group songs (especially debuts) have a certain heart felt feeling. Now personally I actually didn’t mind this title, but it didn’t sit right with me. It didn’t have what was special or different. It felt cold and a generic mishmash of trends and sponsored branding. If you feel different let me know your thoughts I’d love to hear it. I just think that this groups debut was failed by the company. Especially considering their pre debut was quite excellent.

Something about NMIXX debut is interesting I believe this is planned even in the lyrics it describes peoples reactions exactly shocked confusion and one of the lyrics says this is just a teaser and even the title I believe this was all planned out I believe the JYP Entertainment the little scandals that controversies the plagiarism was a plan to catch peoples attention with other things this is just a teaser

I have a theory: this song is literally their next title tracks mixed together. i like nmixx's debut. i feel like any other concept would just have thrown them into the sea of the previous 4th gen debuts. "its a jyp grp, exactly as we expected" was not the first impression we had. literally shocked and confused, hence O.O their title track. the focus was shifted to the 7 new idols and not the company, at least for me. (JIWOO is my bias!)

Haewon's personality is really nothing like Mina's (note: Mina is my Twice bias, Haewon is my NMIXX bias-wrecker) They're both elegant, smart, and have gorgeous singing voices, but Haewon is extroverted and loves to play around with the other members -- her livestreams are crackfests especially if Bae is with her… Meanwhile, Mina is Mina

I love em so much, at first a little perplexed about the debut, but now I actually love it, especially if watching them performing it live, pretty amazing! Also these kids reminds me of some of my favorite sunbaes. Lily is giving me Nina meets jihyo and Wendy RV. Haewon is so elegant, like Mina mixed with Lia. Sullyeon is totally the child of tzuyu. Jinni is like another JYP dancing machine, like a mix of Momo with a touch of Sunmi’s sensuality. Bae is totally jeongyeon mixed with ryujin, queens of coolness. Jiwon’s crackhead energy reminds me of dahyun and sana . And Kyujin reminds me of sohee and chaeyoung. They’re like a perfect JYP girlgroup, can’t wait what they have next in store for us!

I was pretty confused by O.O when it dropped, as I liked the beginning and end but wasn't huge on the "Superman" part. However, it quickly grew on me and now it's my favorite debut of 2022. They're incredibly talented. I can't wait to see what they have in store.

they way they were formed and their backgrounds seems like a Step Up movie plot 😂 Lily: foreigner who wanna be a kpop star who travelled back to korea to find her shine. Haewon: a competent hardworking student trainee who pushes herself to be the best. shes the opposite of the hero Bae. Sullyoon: An already kpop star who left her old management and has been wanted by other managements. Bae: the protagonist of the story, an unruly student who skips school for fun then suddenly dragged into the kpop world just bec she danced on a competition and she was great. Jiwoo: the one from another group, a veteran, just wanna try new things. Kyujin: the literal rich kid who does private lessons and just come and goes but in the end she gets used to the group and became their cutie maknae.
