Maganda talaga at Baka gumanda pa ulit, Sana dumami ang turista. May nagcomment, pano daw ang informal settlers? Financial education Sana maturuan sila, para matutong humawak ng kung ano mang meron sila. Kasi kami sa province , bago kami umalis for abroad, duon kami nakatira sa lumang bahay sa tabi ng tinatawag nyo “squatters”. Opo, kahit po sa probincia, mayroon. Kung Guadalupe Nuevo/Viejo, depende po sa mode of transport na gagamitin nyo. Medyo malayo sya kung iisipin. Syempre mabilis kung mag-taxi/grab. Ang nasa isip ko lang na mabilis na public transpo para pumunta derecho dito ay punta muna sa Shaw Boulevard at dyan sumakay ng jeep na pa-Quiapo. Baba ng Quiapo at maglakad papuntang Binondo tapos makikita mo na itong Esplanade. Di ko pa nasubukan ibang rota kaya di ako sigurado kung may mas madali pang paraan sa pagpunta dito.

Naipon po ang tubig ulan ng ilang araw pagkatapos ni Typhoon Carina kaya tinutuboan na ng lumot ang sidewalk at daan sa parteng yan. Hopefully, ma-solusyonan na nila ito at di na maulit sa susunod na may malakas na ulan 🤞

Instead of complaining, dapat magpasalamat na lang tayo sa Marcos admin dahil naisip nilang gawin ang Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli project. It’s not perfect but at least makakadagdag Ito para sa tourism ng bansa and also may magandang place na bibisitahin ang mga Pinoy. Pls remember na hindi pera ng taungbayan ang ginamit sa proyekto na Ito but funded by the private sector. So huwag tayong masyadong magreklamo.

Ang paglalagay ng ganitong klaseng proyekto sa buong Pasig River ay magbibigay din ng kamalayan sa mga residente na nakatira sa paligid nito na alagaan at pahalagahan ang mismong ilog. Baka mabigyan din ng dahilan ang mga factories at establishments na iwasan nang magtapon ng kahit anong kemikal at basura derecho sa Pasig river. Di natin maisa-isa lahat pero ang daming epekto nito sa buhay ng mga tao na nakatira sa paligid. 👍

There is a view deck I wonder kung Anong view ang titingnan nila it is not like in Italy or other part of Europe na napakaganda ng mga structure so magagandang view ang Makita mo.If you on the view deck looking at the other side , malungkot tingnan yon kabilang side Wala ka makitang people's activities dyan, ang Makita mo mga building na psgaari ng mga Chinese, parang Wala Akong alam na building na pagaari ng Pilipino.So Hindi maganda ang view sa kabilang side, Hindi maganda ang ambiance.

Hehe same tayo ng sentiment, wala nga masyadong view sa kabila. Ni-research ko sya para malaman kung para saan ang viewing deck. So, isa daw po sa purpose nitong project ay para magkaroon ng seamless/tuloy-tuloy na bike lanes at pedestrian lanes sa buong pasig river. Ang ilalim ng viewing deck ay commercial space sya para sa mga cafe na nagbebenta ng pagkain at inumin. Sa likod nito ay ramp habang sa taas ay viewing deck para makita ang historical landmarks sa kabila tulad ng El Hogar Building and National Archives of the Philippines. Sa ngayong, unti-unting pinapaganda mga lumang buildings sa Binondo(adaptive reuse).

Yes, naipon na tubig ulan after ng Typhoon Carina at matagal nilang nalinis kaya yung sidewalk at daan sa parteng yan ay nagka-lumot na. Hopefully, mabigyan ng solusyon yan at di na ma-ulit sa mga susunod na malakas na ulan. Ang dami pa namang natamaan ng leptospirosis ngayon.

all houses for the homeless should be build high rise tenement buildings just like what they do in singapore and china. please, stop deforestaton, preserve centuries old trees and endangered wild animals such as the soon to extinct 200 remaining philippine eagles to the next generations of filipinos. the only way to progress is through land reclamations to accomodate the growing and overcrowded120 million filipinos.all riversides should be cleared from extended housings, buildings, warehouses. these plots of lands by the rivers should be reserved as linear parks for joggers, wild birds, cyclist and tourists. love from 12 million overseas filipino workers.

It's beautiful and all but they had a chance to make it aptly filipino instead they went for 1st world parisian chic knockoff. THE light posts were more at home in 19th century PARIS than 21st century manila.. They could've chosen sleek modern light posts with a slight nod to the past given that the esplanade is surrounded by skyscrapers.. Or they could've gone green just like what they did in ILOILO city coz metro manila needs trees, a lot of them or even what the DUTCH did in amsterdam, even spacing of trees, light poles, mini garden, all over the city which arguably is the cheaper and more sustainable option.

In trying to understand behind the decision for the type of materials, installations, and architectural style used in this project, this is what I learned: ✅ The Pasig River Esplanade project is made up of several segments along the whole 26 kilometer stretch of the Pasig River. Each segment aims to reflect the context of its surroundings. The showcase area and first part built of the project - located by the Post Office in Manila - features a Parisian look which was also the inspiration of the original design of Jones Bridge. ✅ JONES BRIDGE: Jones Bridge in Binondo, Manila, was designed with a Parisian look due to the influence of French Neoclassical architecture. This design choice was made by Filipino architect Juan M. Arellano, who was inspired by the grandeur and elegance of European bridges, particularly the Pont Alexandre III in Paris. ✅ BURNHAM PLAN OF MANILA: The construction of new bridges were part of a master plan of Manila Daniel Burnham, who wanted to give emphasis to the city's rivers and likened them to the Seine River in Paris and the canals of Venice.
