Exactly! Like... do people honestly think that there would be any value in it if all he did on the show was show off his own skills as a chef? It's not a cooking show, that's not the point! He uses food as a way to help encourage the heroes to get excited about cooking and taking care of themselves food-wise, and shows them how food and cooking can help create special moments for them and their loved ones. It doesn't need to be *complicated* cooking- especially since most of the heroes don't have the time or energy to be constantly cooking complicated dishes anyway. Antoni is awesome at what he does on the show, and you can tell the heroes really appreciate him and his passion for food :)

Right! They don't have a chance for self care and eat only store bought food and even sunflower seeds because it's easy. What can you expect? Teach them how to make macarons? Beef wellington? He just use simple recipe for them to make it. I think that's the point of the show. Other fab 5 are doing the same thing. Just simple, small step for heros to keep going.

But one thing that I find very hilarious about him is that his surname "Porowski" it actually sounds like a leek in Polish, "por". And "- owski" is a common ending for Polish surnames. As a vegan, I am always diligent about ingredients in my food. Because of this I always ask burrito places and restaurants if their guac contains any dairy. On many occasions people look at me as if I have two heads, that I am crazy to think that there could be any dairy in guac. Well it happens, and as Antoni mentioned, it is pretty traditional. As a customer, businesses should understand that people all have dietary needs, and allergies. We are going to ask questions, we aren't crazy to ask these questions, because in most cases we have been confronted with these ingredients in not so predictable places.
