I agree. it's like walking against the wind all the time. It irritates people terribly when we do what we think is right and don't listen to orders, I always laugh and say I'm a born rebel. but the fact that the discussion I have every time someone tries to convince me that I'm doing something wrong because I go my own way and don't behave or think like others, is amazing even for me. I don't know where it comes from, but I always know what to say to convince other people that the path I am taking is the right one and helps solve problems in the blink of an eye. and man, like a blind man, gropes for solutions and then becomes even more lost. so I will never do what is expected of me just to please someone because in their opinion it is the right thing to do because it is well seen in society, I just walk in peace and joy and every obstacle I encounter is another lesson to develop even more to become become a better person because that's why we are here, not to meet someone else's norms and rules. have fun with life and spread your wings and fly up. Female sigma INFJ, very interesting, 100% spot on. It is a blessing and a curse. I could not, would not ever try to explain myself to others bcs all my lfe people/family tell me "I dont think like you." From earliest childhood memories we have always thought like this, born, not learned, exhausting. While this is hard on your social and relationship life, I dont want or cant change. That is OK.

Spot on! I find most people think I'm crazy or way off base when I express my thoughts or potential solutions, and they just ignore me--until they figure out their solutions aren't quite working out for them. It's hard to find people in that like kinded mindset. I lost my son 7 years ago and was obsessed with death and everything that had to do with it and research every square inch of it. That's the same way with the cosmos learning how everything works. I need to know the engine outs because I am a fix it kind of guy. What I am realizing is that I am better off alone than with another person in my life because there's not one person that can handle this form of energy and they all try and quell me to make things comfortable instead of celebrating me for all the great things I bring to the table. I used to think it was my loss but now I know it's theirs.

Most would rather continue to struggle on a long term (or lifelong) issue and "relate" to others through sympathy or misery. Misery loves company after all. If someone presents them with an honest, simplistically logical answer their struggle is felt as a insignificant. "It can't be that easy", even if it is. Some see constructive criticism as an attack. Some instantly compare themselves to you (or more their perception of you). Usually they all just forget it and go back to running in the same hamster wheel. Or at least that's how it usually is more often than not on my end of life.

It has literally gotten to a point where I have purged nearly everybody out of my life including friends and family. I don't want to hang out with people with these kind of shit values and constantly having my light dimmed by them in an effort to control me. It's very very hard to admit you've been hanging out with shitty people but after these last couple get done I will never have a problem again because I will be sure to identify my boundaries early on instead of placating and conforming to other people's expectations.

Try being a male combat arms officer in the army for many years and being a SINFJ. Funny thing is when I was a young lieutenant, I tested out as a strong ISTJ. By the time I retired, I was an INFJ (borderline). A few years after retirement and I am pegged to the max as an INFJ. People change and now I see myself in this video. It is lonely as a SINFJ. It is hard to explain to people why you demand something in their performance or a plan or a contract. But you know that you wouldn't demand it if it werent absolutely necessary. Then the one thing you demand, they don't want to give unless you can explain it but you cant because they cant see it - they lack the ability. And when it goes haywire because it was not included in the plan or contract or a mission, they never say, yeah you were right. Then you beat yourself up for letting it get by. If you force it and all goes well, they never attribute it to the fact that you demanded x,y or z. It just happened recently on a contract. A tiny detail and it slipped thru and I caught it but no one else could see the pattern. Only me. It's not brilliance -- it's ability to see certain things certain ways. And people don't like it.

In case there is still a SIGMA INFJ. Never try to find the logic, there is no logic in the future. you can find the vision through an additional loop and have a logic search, but that's difficult. Ask about variation in vision, about improvement. It is not true that the visions always come true if you choose another one.

INFJ is a personality type. From the Myers Briggs categorisation. Sigmas are rare, as are INFJs, this coupled together it's a very rare persona.
