If that warrior had Faps he woulda won, also he didnt play that well, just better than 98% of crappy warriors. The 2% will get stomped by the 1%. Skillcap does exist but it's well beyond 99% of players. Pshero is practically perfect skillcap on rogue which is like hardest skillcap! What a god!

Warriors are a noob stomping class but at the high levels are difficult to play well because your only real tools are all outsourced which means everyone else can get them too. Literally the difference in this match up between a good warrior and a bad one is just knowing when to shield and Def stance up to mitigate as much stun damage as possible. Considering the mastery of the rogue with Pshero this warrior did very well with what they had or willing to use. Not sure why they bandaged 5 damage though

Back in 2006 PVP server rogue populations were like 50% of the server. Undead+engineer+rogue was the cookie cutter choice for ganking. Just so many cooldowns to blow. It was very imbalanced in rogues' favour. Go watch old World of Roguecraft vids in case you haven't seen them. Explains a lot. Famous rogue players made "naked rogue" pvp vids on Filefront, where they beat opponents in full pvp gear while wearing no gear at all themselves. All other classes lost faith back then. Only very good warriors, shadow priests and hunters stood a chance and they really had to be right race/profession/spec/trinket/gear combo. Even then the rogues could always just escape if things went bad, or just choose to not engage at all.

@@aboflowerz frost mage was the sleeper ultimate pvp spec, it just took people until bc to realize it when they were given things like ice lance/water elemental pom pyro was such a clown build, and almost every mage was pom pyro, but some were something else that had monstrous crits, high survivability and high control.. sound familiar? cold snap is even the analogue to preparation, frost mage completely ruins melees due to slowing their speed/attacks and constantly immobilizing them - though druid was a problem

@@Ghost-fe1vp you're right it's not the same. It reduces his movement to the same speed as his backpedal. Out of all the things you could say are worth tweaking on a rogue this ain't it. If I miss a crippling proc a warrior hits me for 50% of my hp in 1 global. And reducing the speed reduction on a class without a real gap closer is dumb. Every other class has either a) a gap closer or b) a gap extender with the exception of paladin/shaman who can cleanse the poison anyways. The only tool you could consider either of those for rogues is sprint which is immediately overwritten by any slow in the game.
