Ever wonder how to stretch your embossing powder so it can do more? I used to never buy color embossing powders because I didn't want them to just sit in a drawer barely used. Once I discovered this easy, simple little trick, you can create different looks with your existing heat embossing stash!

I learned that we can mix alcohol ink with white embossing powder and make colored embossing powder! Stir and let the powder dry! Nifty hack!

I usually do the very BASIC embossing. It can be so boring...white embossing on black paper...black embossing on white paper. I really need to mix it up a bit. I will certainly be ordering me some of this stuff! Thanks for a great video. I really like the stripe stencil you've used for one of your cards. And am in love with the last one with paper strips embossed in so many colors and textures. I'll never look at my scraps the same way...ever!!!

I hate glitter!!! Kinda funny background...When I was a room-mom, years ago for my son's class, I outlawed Elmer's glue and glitter!!! All the crafts we did we used Eileen's glue. I has little bottles to hand out & share. They didn't pour out yet they dried faster and held better. Kids had fun and never went home crying that their craft fell apart and got glue/glitter all over their backpack. No glitter clean up for teachers for days afterwards! Lol. Love your ideas!

LOL, LOVE this story!! I was once at a crafty show and in the audience for a presentation with several crafty friends. The speaker asked who is not a glitter fan. To everyone's horror my friend Justine and I quickly shot up our hands. The looks of sheer horror we got from the crowd was so funny to me. People LOVE their glitter....lol. I can't stand it getting all over the place. Embossing glitter is the only answer for me. Other than that, I have one or two tiny bottles to add to paste where I can contain it....lol. I have actually seen them for sale and nearly bought them sight unseen, and i was starting to think if noone is using them there might be a problem. They look great. You will LOVE them! Changers are game changing for embossing powders. If you don't have any WOW powders in that haul, get a few. I like them the best of all powders. The colors are crazy vibrant too. Thank you Amy, that's a huge compliment! I'm a solopreneur, so yes, I edit my own videos. Editing has become a hobby and passion of mine, I wish I made enough from videos to hire someone, cause it takes a LONG time to make it look like this....lol. I want everything to look incredibly professional for you all. I takes about 4-5 days for me to create a video start to finish. Most of that time is spent editing. I use Premiere Pro, but didn't start there. My first few videos were with the the free windows editor, then I quickly upgraded to Camtasia which I used until April of last year. I edited over 400 videos on that software. Now, I use Premiere Pro. I learn as I go, but had to dig in for a full week to learn the software with a class I bought on Udemy. It's pricey, but worth it if you're serious about video.
