After experimenting with the glitch. What you are farming the credits from is not the refunded upgrades, its the starting cash of other classes. Meaning you do not have to refund upgrades. Literally just 1. Spend all your money on the class you want 2. Switch to a class you have not played before (go through the list and do it 8 times) 3. Switch back Your total has now gone up (the specific amount is 250 + all the credits your team has gotten) however you can only do this 8 times. So I discovered a new glitch 1. Spend all your money on the class you want 2. Switch to any class 3. Attack the red refund button to the right of the upgrade station 4. Switch back Exact same glitch but you can repeat this infinitely. These 2 methods scale the more credits your team has gotten (aka more kills) so in pregame you get 250 each time, but later in rounds you can get thousands of credits per cycle

honestly, I feel like any 'problems' and balance changes to any halloween map like freaky fair, shouldn't be made. it's halloween in tf2, the most ridiculous time of the year, where nothing is taken seriously and spells decide games, there's an underworld and a giant talking wizard with an infection gamemode. Another thing about the current exploit: The money you get back is how much you currently have on your chosen class. Instead of immediately doing the exploit at $250, save up for like $2000, then switch class and back. And you'll get $2000 back after buying and selling upgrades.

Delfy, it’s not valve that fixed freaky fair since it’s not a valve map, but rather a community map. Exploits on community maps are fixed by the tf2 players that made them, not valve.
