How do you get the downward slash instead of the uppercut for physical technique/ct 1 inverted spear of heaven slash

It’s kinda tricky but basically the game will just assume what move to do depending on the position. For a downward CT, typically you have to be right above the opponent

I've done so experimenting and it's the upward slash when you're infront of the opponent. He does the side slash when you're on your opponent's left or right side and the downward slash when you're behind, above, or in front of them next to the wall

Can't wait till this broken character gets nerfed... I get it toji is cool, but no I'm not surprised you dashed behind me for the 60th time this match toji 😂. I play nobara and legit when toji targets you all you can do is hold shield on his combos (which you cant punish without a guard break that becomes super obvious after the 2nd one) and the second they realize youre forced to turtle, they just dash shield break and THEN they combo you off that. Broken mobility broken damage broken combos broken ult This game will be perfect once toji gets a full kit nerf and teen gojo gets an r1 combo nerf

Meh...toji was designed to have combos in a game where combos are not possible. 3 hit combo Omg this definitely not reptetive...this game has sadly combo potential

Mainly because in a 2v2, if your teammate is knocked down, the other opponent is heading towards you, and trying to do a 20 hit combo wouldn't be ideal, when you can get your dmg done and still have time to react to them. Combos are definitely still possible, Toji and Maki being the best examples, although the new Gojo and Geto have good combo potential, as do a bunch of the other characters. It's just that long combos aren't ideal in a game based on speed.

@@SantinoGrandSummoners this game is the opposite of speed...half the time u waiting for your opponent for standing up or your enemie to stand up and all this feels like slowmotion cause the stand up is taking for ever specially when u have to see this over and over every 4 seconds cause theyre are only mini combos. A sub system would be way smarter to increase the speed of fights and make it then possible to make combos longer and play better with team aspect. This would make the game way flashyier like the anime.
