today I'm creating a pad sound in the grid of Bitwig Studio. So I turned on the camera and Bitwig Studio and started creating a Pad Sound. I also try to improve my ability to speak fluently while building something in Bitwig. Normally I'm not so talkative when I'm sitting at the computer.

This turorial is amazing, I was able to learn a lot about the grid in a very short time and my creative block is dissipating since you inspire me to create unique patches.

Hi your stuff is fire, hey could you create a video about creating generative drums sequences with the grid? random, in key, and also that you can save/keep them, not totally just random all the time, generate once and use. Thanks! :)

(New to Bitwig over here.) Using the PolyGrid, could you effectively recreate older synths like the Korg Triton?
@PolarityMusic
@PolarityMusic 8 ай бұрын
If im not wrong the triton/m1 is sample based with some "added" control. but its more or less a rompler. so if you have the samples you can re-create it with bitwig

Very nice, I would have stopped at 2:20 perfectly nice sound...surprising really. I would challenge any Grid nerds to create lush productions without any delay based parameters whatsoever, no delay, reverb, chorus, flanger etc of course phaser is ok :) As soon as delay and reverb come into the scene, the music tends to want to slow down with long trails...make it fast-n-dry, staccato mixed with legato etc...maybe it is impossible, everyone seems to be doing outta space music. btw I know you do the drum-n-bass which is a nice genre when done dry.

Again, mind blowing stuff. The problem is, even if I try to replicate your videos, I find it all highly unintuitive. Any tips or methods to get a better understanding of the grid?
@ht3k
@ht3k 5 жыл бұрын
It's incredibly intuitive for people that know all the production terms. Sine wave, ADSR, sequencing, filtering, routing. All you have to do is go in there and mess with the parameters until you know how parameter name affects the sound.
