How has Phil accidentally had gay sex with a character when it wasn't his intention to do so MULTIPLE times now? Like if I didn't know who Phil was and what he's been doing for over 15 years I would 100% think he was doing it on purpose. It's almost impressive.

lmao, tbh, i had many of the same thoughts as this guy when i first started playing "WHAT? THAT TAKES AN ACTION?" except i didn't just blame the game for me not knowing anything. Instead of having twitch chat i had google and i persisted. I also think the UI for keyboard and mouse is so much more intuitive than the controller interface and probably would have helped him a LITTLE BIT. I'm very surprised he kept playing for as long as he did while having so many gripes with it

Yeah, the action economy in BG3 can be annoying sometimes. In real DND, it really depends on your DM. I had a DM that made us take a full action to put away your sword or whatever and a second action on a different turn to pull out a bow or other ranged weapon. Meanwhile, my current DM let's us switch between melee and ranged weapons as a free action and only has us use bonus actions to get stuff out of our packs or use a completely different weapon or to stabilize a downed party member. I get why they couldn't have that for a game like BG3, but when I first started the game, it was hard getting used to the differences.

Was just re-watching the well done fallout 2021 run again, we HAVE to point out that he 1 - waited so long to play BG3 thus missing out on the $$$ and 2 - how he wanted to put the playthrough on hold but because it was the only one making him $$$ he continue it like an week later 2024 has been dsp at his worst, he been quitting every game now if the tip goal aren't being made. Dropped major titles like ff7 rebirth/dragon dogma yet played an kid kitty game, shortblade 2, inifinite just my life, and street fighter 6

i don't understand people play story games then proceed to not read anything or try to understand. i know the game can be a bit complicated at first but by like hour 40 if you don't understand shit, just give up and go to sleep lmao

1:08:22 Yeah, but he's missing the key requirement to all of that: you have to actually fucking read and pay attention to the mechanics and tutorials the game gives you. If you just ignore everything, then of course you're not gonna understand a game 40 hours in. Dude is barely playing the game as is with him asking chat to just tell him everything.
