I'm pretty sure it has no effect on screen tearing whatsoever. More to do with his monitor being crap, along with the pile of pig turds he uses for a PC. AA is mainly used to smooth jagged edges and cleans things up to look more realistic

@@tomthestone1470 anti aliasing is the solution to make jagged edges appear smoother by applying a slight blur effect. for eliminating screen tearing one should turn on vertical sync or Vsync if available.

True, but if TIHYDP vids emulated Phil's channel, they'd average around 30 videos, and would just be unedited segments. His channel has 60K videos and he spams them every day, which is a death sentence for views and subs.

The fact that TIHYDPs receive so many views shows that people actually find that persona of his funny and entertaining [I know I do] and by extension himself as a whole if you cut out the other bad stuff he puts out. Unfortunately, his ego and delusion made him miss that golden opportunity and now he's where he is today. All that badmouthing and insulting of game developers and stupid criticism of the game for his own incompetence is 100% serious and not sarcasm. This is what makes him unlikable. I truly wish it wasn't like this, I can't bring myself to hate DSP because he's actually funny in these compilations. Still, perhaps it's the fact that his rants against games for his own fault are absolutely genuine and not sarcasm is what makes these videos funny.

Gotta think like DSP. Everything he does is for money. Drop potions because he was going by monetary value of items. Potion worth 1 gold or shit armor worth 10 gold. Too stupid to realize 100 potions weighed less than the one piece of armor. At first he was just dropping random shit. He dropped items he was wearing. Dropped valuable items, and kept worthless items like bones, cups, and plates.

All of these comments are years old, but for an easy lockpicking guide - it's literally just how fast the tumbler falls. If you tap it and it falls slowly, tap again. If you tap it and it falls nigh instantly? Next tap will carry it to the top. It's easy once you get the hang of it. Though yes, SK makes it way easier, cannot blame anyone for going for it right away, lol

If you don't sleep in Oblivion you won't gain levels. So you can purposefully keep your level low to keep the game easy. You can see he has the little level up possible indicator so he's just not sleeping.

First time I played oblivion I was ten, and I walked to weynon priory from the sewer exit at the beginning of the game, I explored on the way, but I'd never encountered fast travel in a video game before so even when it told me about I didn't understand so I MFing walked. After arriving at weynon priory I figured how to fast travel and went jumping around the world in every Bethesda game since them with glee and merriment.

Bethesda games are pretty funny though. They do stuff like have NPCs scratch their faces in their sleep to seem more immersive, except they're in their clothes on top of the bed. Then Phil just wakes her up and she's instantly ready to talk to him and is cool with it. Then she goes to a completely different bed :P

Good old phil, never learn the game mechanics and then complain that they are broken (even if Oblivion is somewhat broken). Also, I did see the unclogging his toilet part in another video before but couldn't find it anymore. My comment on that was, why the hell buy all that expensive shit instead of a plunger and using some elbow grease. I have a toilet that keeps clogging and using a plunger fixes that instantly. It's almost like even in real life he need pay to win to succeed.

I've heard Retsupurae talk about DSP in a less than flattering manner, but I never thought he'd actually be this awful. He's cringeworthy and disrespectful to any game I've seen him "enjoy", and I'm using that term losely. He lacks proper speech skills and any noteworthy talent (not simply in terms of playing video games), and to add insult to injury, he continually blames the game for him failing at life. He's had a beef with Tobuscus, where he said, that Toby isn't funny and bad at games. I sometimes wonder if the thinks his burbs, random body noises, immature sex jokes and every, single inappropriate comment over every single narrative sequence are anything more than an affront to decency.

I'll say one thing about DSP and Oblivion, he is right about the containers having nothing in them, it's by far one of the worst things about modern Elder Scrolls, there is almost nothing of value in exploring and searching containers. Morrowind use to have heaps of good stuff you could find in the world, it actually was rewarding for exploring and searching the containers. But as usual DSP can't just say it once as a criticism he has to labor the point.
