Oh, the battle with Elisium. How I hated that boss, and it didn't help that I suck with alpha Patroklos just a bit less that DSP himself. Still, a good vid, a pity DSP never touched online though. That would give new meaning to 'rape'.

Counters don't do anything but add special effects to certain moves, they usually don't do anymore damage, they just stun you or launch you. (Unless you're Yoshimitsu, in which case, you have a certain move that can do tons of damage when it's a counter.)

Alpha Petroklos was a nightmare to use, solely because he was basically Setsuka, and if you didn't know how to use Setsuka, you got assraped. A LOT. Setsuka was a character that DEMANDED you master her. She was not a pickup-and-play character in the slightest. The fact that it made you use her style to fight Elysium (which was basically Sophitia on steroids) was rage-inducing.

The story of Soulcalibur V is now a little hidden gem compared to the one of Soulcalibur VI. At least it doesn't look like it's an early draft with dumb dialogue and cringy voice acting. [edit]: and that's considering SCVI is a reboot that is based on the original SoulCalibur for the Dreamcast. They took something that worked perfectly fine and tore it apart. V at least has new characters and doesn't ruin the old ones. Ok I'm sorry I just couldn't stand SCVI. Never thought I would see SCV as a positive comparison for anything besides gameplay.

at the every beginning of this video I have found problems soul edge is a normal sword just been in so much blood and hatred until it turn bad after many years and soul calibur was a part of the soul edge until it was made into a sword to destroy soul edge also when he played the arcade mode just saying to me if he played all of the games and go to play nightmare would it not make more sense to play the person who used it the most in the games like Siegfried fun fact in german his name means black wind and that is why the designer gave him black armor

Soul Calibur was not part of Soul Edge. It was originally the Dvpara-Yuga of the Ling Sheng Su temple, Xianghua was the first Soul Calibur wielder since the sword revealed itself as Soul Calibur while she was trying to free Siegfried from Nightmare. Siegfried got momentarily freed by Xianghua, but immediately consumed again by Inferno, Soul Edge's spirit. In Inferno's ending in Soulcalibur I, Soul Calibur also gets consumed by him, and that form is called Soul Calibur: Evil. Siegfried didn't officially got Soul Calibur until Soulcalibur IV, shortly after he got freed accidentally by Raphael. The sword merged with him, and that's why he has the crystal armor and can use crystals at will, even in Soulcalibur V. In Soulcalibur V, Elysium is the physical manifestation of Soul Calibur, it has no gender and looks like Sophitia because Patroklos constantly idolized her. This is all part of the original timeline, the new timeline is not canon becuase it's written horribly but that's just my bias lol [edit]: Siegfried has only had ONE black armor in the whole series, and that's his SoulCalibur I 2P costume. And I highly doubt it was because of Schwarzwind...

As a hardcore Soulcalibur fan this kinda offends me, and not at the same time. I used to hate SCV because of the story, but now that story has my respect after seeing what a dumpster fire the so-called reboot SCVI is. They took something that wasn't broken... and broke it. Tore it apart. Into little bite-sized tiny pieces. It was not beautiful to watch. It was not. Ok sorry lol
