Yeah, tow missiles take time because they trail the crosshairs. Practice watching the missile instead of the crosshairs. They also launch off rails that are below the pilot. So they start below the crosshairs. I line up the bottom of the crosshairs before I fire then watch for the flames of its engine. You have to really lead the target too. I would say the majority of my hits are more luck than skill, but it still feels great when they hit.

That MAA was an absolute noob though. Where are the Active Radar or Passive Radar missiles? Sending even one AR missile their way would force them to retreat. If they still push him, then he could hide behind cover and wait for their barrage to finish before coming out and sending more missiles their way, but the MAA chose to sit out right in the open. Easy tactics for countering helis and jets, but these players don't use them.

I finally got to the gunner. but my pilot was one of those 2 idiots and He asked me to get off the helicopter and I said no, he blew up the helicopter, so it was a real battlefield moment.

That's how passive radar missiles are supposed to be used though, so nobody should feel guilt for using them. The "prefire then lock on at the last second" tactic is even described in the BF4 wiki for passive radar missiles.

@@xanderabbey8529 the issue isn't the prefiring and getting the lock on at the last second, it's that the missiles suddenly turns around and basically teleports to the locked target at insane unreactable speed even if the Missile is far away from the target, but also it tends to glitch to where both missiles impact without the pilot even getting a notification for the lock-on attempt. If the rocket had to be kinda close to the locked target to be able to track you could actually spot the rocket coming at you and the MAA had to lead the Passives like they have to do with Actives.

@@solidzack This is interesting. I never really get into air vehicles, so I never know how passive radar missiles affect pilots. It's an interesting perspective, though I'm certainly going to carry on using passive radar missiles, precisely for these reasons. No lock warning, crazy speed, sheer unpredictability, and good damage per missile = great anti-air weapon.

If the pilot hops out of a vehicle and back in, it will unspot the vehicle. Its impossible on console because you have to hold button to enter/exit a vehicle. On PC you just *click*

@@airgasmYT Jets in Hardcore are way harder but Stealth Jets can be quite effective since the 30 chip damage from the laser guided missiles can't easily be recovered, plus no Air Radar and no 3rd person backwards spotting to abuse the Base AA makes it so the pilot with a better situational awareness can easily get many surprise kills.

So I can get C4 in a vehicle. No thank you. But you know what would be cool though, having a drone fly behind your tank to activate a 3rd person perspective, and the enemy can shoot it down forcing 1st person. For helicopter... I don't know, an extendable camera (as in a collapsible baton or another one as a antenna that retracts) on the tail wing. Jets, no 3rd person. Maybe a rear-view camera? On its dashboard, for example, battlefield 4 jdam screen or guided missile. Well those are my thoughts lol what do you think would be cool?
