Loving the podcast guys, its really helped smooth my journey back into the hobby after a long break (another 2nd edition blood angels fan boy here!) . Ive got a hobby hack for you: expanding on James recomendation to keep a painting journal with paint swatches Ive sprayed a few pages with a black grey and white stripe and then painted the swatches over the top to get an idea of how a different primer effects the colour.

Love the new list of products you recommend BUT 😂 any chance of an airbrush recommendation? Plus any tools that would come in handy? I’m about to dive into that world for a new multi coloured death guard army

I got a colour wheel and I got it by my painting desk and just having it there to glance at is so handy. I’m changing my plasma on my army to purple from blue, because my Templars have yellow weapon casings I found the purple works better because it’s a complimentary colour and visually it does look way better

After hearing from you guys how to approach batch projects and to focus on a clear objective, I finally gave it a try. It was a really enlightening experience. 30 dnd miniatures for a friend, all painted in a single batch, aiming for a quick tabletop standard instead of the usual blends and multilayered highlits I do for single minis. It was amazing to see how moderately planned drybrush, single highlight stage and different types of vanishes stand up, especially when the miniatures are put together for display!

Somehow I still have a screw top lid Snakebite Leather from almost 25 years ago that's still in usable condition. They really do last if you take care of them.

Highlight of episode for me was James pronouncing 'Abaddon' the correct way as 'Abaddon' instead of 'Abaddon'. Had a lot of arguments with my mates over this one, they insist it's 'Abaddon' whereas I say 'Abaddon'.

I don’t want to start a fight but I think you’ll find it’s pronounced “Abaddon”… 😅

I've started purchasing Death Guard as well and almost refuse to do the normal color scheme, though haven't been able to land on something that FEELS right. I'm interested to see where this goes...

The Pallid Hand are: The Pallid Hand is a warband or vectorium of Heretic Astartes of the Death Guard Traitor Legion's 2nd Plague Company. Masters of the armoured assault, the Pallid Hand employ a greater number of Chaos Predators and Chaos Land Raiders than any other vectorium of the Death Guard. I'm learning!

Great video as somebody who is very new to Warhammer who has never played, but who owns multiple hundreds of dollars and models I’m really dumbfounded that terrain isn’t more of a feature. I think all of us would love to paint more but more hammer boards are so barren compared to the models.

I remember in an episode one of you guys mentioned that you found an airbrush primer that doesn't peel off. I'm looking for it now and can't find it anymore 😂 (Edit I just listened to it long enough to find out about the link)

George recommended AK Interactive black airbrush primer, you can find it on our 'recommended products' affiliate link in the video description

I was really hoping for you to show the armies more and do some analysis but all we really got was "take a step back and look at the overall impact of the army" for an hour I feel like I didn't really learn anything 😢
