It would be interesting if they just removed those cards from the cube, otherwise you'd lose against the same kind of deck over and over again. The idea of drafting 2 from each pack could be more fun if more decks would be viable.

@@davio14 The funny thing is that this kind of format only exists to give us a "vintage fantasy" experience of playing with the most powerful Magic cards but without Shops and Dredge to spoil the fun. Basically just a pile of powerful cards without an obvious wincon, because outrageous topdecks are part of the fun.

Cubing this way makes 80 % of the cube useless and deckbuilding comes down to goodstuff decks, with half of the deck already build because of luck. Fun to see for once, but this is not for me. Hope to see more team drafts or regular drafts, which have a lot more strategy and dynamics and, more importantly, less luck involved.

FWIW, I'd prefer the previous Vintage Cube videos to more of this. I'm not enjoying these at all. Though obviously, if I'm in the minority and/or you're just having fun, then you do you.

Not a fan of this format personally, 70-80% of cards are just unplayable since blue is just busted
