I think we should get a new wolverine that fits the character better. Granted, the DP&W version was great and way closer to the comics than before. People get too attached to actors, especially people who dont read comics. These characters are bigger than the actors who play them. I see people even saying that nobody but Channing could ever play gambit after his very short cameo, as if the character hasnt existed for decades. Overall hugh would be fine to keep and it could definitely be worse but its a perfect opportunity to introduce a more comic accurate wolverine and have him not be the main focus

As much as it hurts me to say it, I think Rdj has a bigger impact on marvel movies even though it's close. Rdj launched the MCU when no one thought it was gonna work. When they made x men they didn't think it could fail. You can tell because they made crazy choices in origins and had to walk it back. It took 21 movies to get to that point in the MCU.

Honestly , I think that they should go ahead and introduce a younger Wolverine from the new shared universe alongside Jackmans Old Man Logan, I think this happened in comics but not sure. I really want to see Angel, Ice man, Jean, Beast, and Cyclops, in the first film while Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Rogue, Gambit, Jubilee, and Kitty Pryde are the new recruits as Storm is learning to lead her team, and Cyclops is the main leader beside Storm, Jean, Professor X. The Sentinels need to be the first villains with the bad humans and a few bad mutants.

After the Secret Wars trilogy, Jackman’s Wolverine stays in the 616 to find mutants and start the 616 X-Men. Yes, you heard that right. Wolverine is going to act as the Professor X of sorts in the 616 and be the one leading the entire thing. It is Professor X that is going to be completely absent from the 616 X-Men. With Jackman’s Wolverine taking on that role on the team.

I think realistically what the X-Men reboot is going to mimic is more or less across between the OG cartoon and X-Men evolution and how they handle the characters going forward will probably get half of the cash younger and a few returning teachers or mentors for the new younger cast but it's probably more or less going to mimic evolution and how they handle the theme

I think John Byrne created Alpha Flight just because he's Canadian and wanted a Canadian super hero team. 😂 But seriously, they're a pretty interesting team and I read his early run debuting the title. They could do a pretty good Sasquatch now with CGI and maybe Wendigo as well. They have long ties to X-Men obviously having been introduced in the comic before getting their own.

I dunno, that’s going to be tough especially since this iteration of Wolverine curses more than Deadpool, practically. They would have to tone down the rating or all of a sudden change his temperament to suit a PG13 X-Men movie… which they won’t, hence why they’re prob not including him. It’s gonna be a messy transition unless they make the Alpha Flight movie a hardcore team with an R rating. Don’t get me wrong I prefer R any day, but that’s a tight rope to walk when you include this Wolverine specifically. They should do an X-Force movie and have Wolverine, Deadpool, and a few other mutants who like getting their hands dirty and don’t mind killing be like the black ops of the X-men for those missions that need killing, similar to how it was in the comics with the black and grey suits. Then you can do R no problem and have Logan be Logan. Should be interesting to see how it unfolds and how Jackman is included in the MCU now.

What if we have Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine act as a mentor until the heroes find their universe’s version of Wolverine? This could tie into Kang, who knows that Wolverine is the anchor being for their timeline. Kang has captured several anchor beings from different timelines, intending to turn them into his army. His plan forces the heroes into a difficult choice: if they kill Kang, they would also have to destroy his army, which could result in the destruction of their own universe. Could that be a way to make up for kang later?
