My comment was a tongue in cheek reminder of how *unsuccessful* that program has been, as is evident from this video where one can clearly see the large piles of garbage lying around the streets and the dirt on the roads. India's biggest enemies are Indians themselves. 🙁

General ticket means you can go by any train in unreserved seat( general class). For example = Train fare are for superfast train is 100. Express train 80 & passenger train 50.

I think there has been some speed up in the video like atleast 1.25x and also if u were expecting sitting on top of train its the thing of the past now as almost all the network is Fully electric and sitting on top will mean likely instant death.Recent videos you see now a days are from Bangladesh.

Appreciate the tip mate! I did learn around 20-40 phrases before I came, and used Anki google translate to do so. Thinking I’ll start learning Hindi properly after I’m done with Thai. Very interesting and amazing place to travel india
