The reason that the cgi looks great is that it’s not just 100% cgi it’s a mix of about 40% cgi and 60% 2D animation mappa specializes in that department.

Possible spoilers?: So unlike other, like all other, shonen protagonist, Denji has had the worst life you can imagine. He never went to school, his dad was abusive, he hasn't had a parent since he was like 7, he had to sell organs(those numbers were in yen. So 100,000 yen is like a few hundred dollars). He has never had any of the basic life necessities and he is young and going through puberty. If you catch all the way up in the manga, he is just now getting to the point at which all other protagonist start their adventure or journey on. It's really sad. And this is an absolutely brutal manga. He wants a normal life and also had no idea what normal even is. Look up maslow's hierarchy of needs. It's a very deep anime.

Denji really reminds me of Hyakkimaru from Dororo. If you like Chainsaw Man, you will like the 2019 adaptation of Dororo.

I think that Dengi isn't as bad off, but Dororo isn't that mainstream and I wasn't comparing him because it's but really a shonen anime. I watched it and rewatched it to make my girl at the time give it a try and she lined it too.

dude you gotta chill with all the details, majority of this is slowly revealed throughout the manga (especially the abuse part), then there are the final sentences that straight up give soft context to the newest parts. Your analysis just reads like regurgitated sentences the community has been posting everywhere though what makes you different is you are posting about it to people who most likely have only watched the anime. I dont know how to explain it better but at best it adds zero value

His mom and dad died, he clearly had a rough life, he loves in a shack and lives of sharing slices of bread and has had to sell organs to be able to survive. It's all in the first episode. He clearly doesn't have any of the basic life necessities because you can see it it the first episode. It is a brutal manga. What did I give away? Maslow's Hierarchy is a thing. You don't need to reed the manga to know that.

This one is a pretty important detail revealed much much later on as insignificant as it may seem in retrospect People put details together quite easily when they get told an abusive person happens to "suicide" lol. The biggest problem is referencing what Denji is going through in the manga rn though, other than that its find. These arent direct spoilers but revealing details not yet present are not good also I have studied Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. Pretty good link, would assume Denji is at belonging rn

You gotta figure out how to avoid pausing every couple of seconds, I know its most likely for copyright but it seems like other channels have figured out a system to circumvent it without ruining the viewing experience Heck, blur the top of the screen, or mute the audio track for the anime (not you guys) post editing for certain intervals. The viewers are reacting to you so the best way would be not ruining your own experience!
