Im going to explain and try to be as spoiler free as possible at the same time so my apologies if its a vague explanation. Uzumaki means spiral/whirlpool. Junji ito is known for making horror stories out of things you usually wouldnt like spirals. So the spirals are kind of like a curse, people will either obsess over them or become extremely fearful of them. Its not scary like jumpscare horror, its more body horror and psychological. I dont know if junji ito meant to do this but the real effects of the story happen AFTER youve finished the story. Your brain takes notice of certain objects more than others if you view that object a lot. Theres so many spiral imagery throughout uzumaki that you will notice spirals everywhere in real life. And it leaves a uneasy feeling

Yeah this anime for sure go my attention even more, I was gonna watch it in my own, BUT NOW I gotta make videos on it to help others obsess or fear spirals as well😂😭😭😭bc I know ppl gonna sleep on this show

Bro i read the manga back in 2014, and after watching the other adaptations of Itou's work I just hoped they never animated and ruined Uzumaki but after watching the teasers and trailers man they cracked the formula this time for sure...

Glad to hear you hyped for uzumaki, i havent read or heard anything about itou work so seeing all the trailer and reacting to them made me more then interested in his work, 110% uploading reactions to episodes of this as well as watching it in my spare time when i can(ive been watching alot of shows lately😅)
