Jagex once again showing their inability to google what a weapon is before assigning it a role that doesn't fit. First the fang, which was originally pitched as a Kopesh which is primarily a slashing weapon. Now they're making a ranged weapon and calling it a glaive? A glaive, you know the polearm that's essentially a shortsword attached to a pole.

I know I've said this before, but keep doing what you're doing, seriously, your videos are great. I read the blog posts myself, but still watch every one of these when you release them. It's a nice, , funny, entertaining refresher in a wonderful format. Plus I never even noticed that the Melee chest has 4 STR bonus! That's huge! Depending on how it looks on female toons I might finally replace my fighter torso for it; just really dont like how the torso looks on my character. Fashionscape is endgame, even if you're only lategame.

Fun fact those things people call marracas were the weapons used jn combat back in meso american times such as the aztecs. The higher tier the soldier the fiercer their costume such as jaguar for top level soldiers. The macauhuitl was like a wooded flat club with obsidian shards (the black squares surrounding it) the purpose for this weapon is to render your opponent unable to fight or run aka knock them out and cut their tendons. As a true warrior wouldnt kill the enemy in the battle field he would capture him and bring him back to have his heart torn out in sacrifice. Reason they sacrificed them was to give their blood to the gods so the sun would keep rising. So yea the set is based on aztec warriors basically.

Unless negative modifiers are actually buffs in disguise (like increasing killcount thus increasing points) negative modifiers are stupid and only detract from a game. Reminds me of things like "attack 25% faster but lose max hit damage" it makes it super hard to calculate what is good.
