Funny story... Mjölnir In mythology was actually made for Thor after Loki pranked Thor’s wife a little too hard and cut her hair. The dwarves were making extensions and made the hammer on the side, Loki did annoy them making the handle a bit too short but when he got threatened to have his bones broken for a simple haircut he was reasonably salty.

This is maybe a contender for Most Underestimated Fighters in a Death Battle. These two universe-busters are being waved around in questions of "Could he break a planet? Maybe? Probably!" Luckily, in my opinion, both are underestimated about the same amount, so the winner is still right. The magic sword is superior to Mjolnir and Thor's other weapons, and Wonder Woman has a lot of better, more reality-breaking weapons than that. Her skill and experience levels are much higher, and her own magical power has torn apart universal constructs and been compared as equal to a Motherbox that was stated to have the power to destroy the multiverse. Both Thor and Wonder Woman also very recently got major upgrades in comics. Thor gained the full Odinforce and portions of the power cosmic, making him likely the third-most powerful Marvel Superhero next to Captain Universe and Silver Surfer. Wonder Woman became the nature of Truth itself after forging her lasso into a universe that was one with her body (comics are weird) and became definitively the most powerful DC Superhero, capable of fighting and killing people who can literally hold the Infinite Timelines of the Greater DC Multiverse in the palm of their hand and was invited to join the Hands, representations of the writers of the comics themselves (which she turned down). Of course, both these upgrades are very recent, so neither this nor any future Death Battle relating to these characters released so far takes them into account. In my opinion, they got this right for sort of the right reasons. They just scaled it way too far down. EDIT: Professor Zoom and Reverse Flash are the primary Villains of the Flash, one of, if not the, fastest characters in DC. So, yeah, anybody comparing to them is going to be insanely fast in combat.

They're not kidding about Wonder Woman's bracelets being a BDSM thing. The creator of Wonder Woman,Professor William Marston, used the comics as a way to explore his theories about women being drawn to bondage and lesbianism. The comics were basically killed off by the Comics Code before the character was revived decades later without any of that baggage. Much like his work, Marston also passed early, though his legacy lived on through his children and the continued relationship between his wife and their mutual lover. I only know so much about it thanks to Hollywood, "Professor Marston and the Wonder Women" was an interesting film

In actual mythology Ragnarök was not a tradition but an event the Æsir tried to prevent, Thor goes into battle against Loki’s son, the world serpent Jörmungandr and both die as a result. Marvel didn’t really care about historical accuracy, for example, Hel was renamed into Hela and in the films was made Thor’s sister instead of Loki’s daughter.

The most accepted one is he’s Odin’s brother due to a blood oath but not his actual brother, though there are theories Loki is a offshoot of Odin himself. He does have two biological brothers though, Helblindi and Býleistr, however Helblindi is also one of Odin’s many other names. Also Býleistr while we don’t know what he’s a god of it’s implied by his name that’s he’s a storm god and since Thor also has multiple names they might be the same person too! Considering the Norse sources we do have came after it was Christianized there’s no way to find out the truth.

Yeah, the thing about DC characters. The top tier heroes, like Wonder Woman or Superman, are just..... ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Marvel can get pretty crazy, but generally their characters are not regularly boxing actual gods as a warm up to fight a super god that eats possible futures for lunch. Thor is one of the BIGGEST hitters in Marvel, he's SUPER strong, and he has forms that COULD possibly beat Wonder Woman, but those require special conditions. The next battle is between 2 of the big three of anime. Naruto Uzumaki from the anime Naruto, obviously. And Ichigo Kurosaki from the anime Bleach. This death battle spoils, basically the ENTIRETY of both of these anime, however both anime are several hundred episodes long. I know Naruto is in total, about 700 episodes long, though a good chunk of that is filler most reactors skip. Still that's over 500 episodes. So, keep that in mind I suppose. It's your call whether to watch or skip. One Piece is the third member of the big three, and you've already seen one of their characters in a battle, Zoro.

But DC just ramps things WAY up in every respect. Thor CAN be extremely powerful, as I said. He can't knock out the PHOENIX FORCE with one hit, you're misrepresenting or misunderstanding something, I'm POSITIVE. The Phoenix Force is a FORCE, it can't get knocked out. That'd be like making a being that cannot sleep, sleep. It just doesn't work fundamentally. As for his god blast, it's nowhere near the might of Galactus. If Galactus is damn near starving, and Thor blows up his hammer, as has happened before against LESSER foes, then maybe he'll kill Galactus. Galactus, if he DID say "Oh that could kill me" could have meant a version of it that's much more powerful. We KNOW for a fact Galactus is just, an entirely different league compared to the Skyfathers. THREE Skyfathers combining THEIR god blasts couldn't even make a Celestial flinch. The only difference between this triple godblast and the godblast Thor used against this SAME Celestial, is it actually noticed the attack when 3 Skyfathers did it. Didn't hurt him, he just realized it happened. Death Battles' amalgamation formula does work. "We use the characters at their most powerful" doesn't work when the characters power has bee anywhere to only city level up to planetary. Wonder Woman's different versions and/or origins keep adding powers, but also keep taking them away. Wonder Woman hasn't lifted a planet or anything like in over a decade. Wonder Woman hasn't had a lightspeed feat in over a decade. The "god mode" they keep using, current Wonder Woman can't do. That's a problem with DC is that they keep rebooting/reshuffling their universes. New 52 Wonder Woman had "god mode". Rebirth Wonder Woman doesn't. Post Crisis Wonder Woman helped lift/move the Earth and blocked FTL speed armor shards. New 52 and Rebirth Wonder Woman have neither done anything close to those feats. Death Battle mashes all versions of a DC character together. It works for Flash cause his OP level of power stays generally consistent across reboots. Same with Superman or a Green Lantern. Wonder Woman has been nerfed, retconned, and reworked so many times that her power levels and abilities are an inconsistent mess. It doesn't work for her.

Most of Supes canon versions were as much planet busters as most of WW's canon versions were, which you would know if you had even remotely as much clue about these characters as you seem to think to have. 3. All of WW's powered canon versions have lightspeed feats in some capacity just like all of Supes powered canon versions, the only thing consistent about Flash is that he's usually the fastest normal superhero in his respective continuity. 4. The only version of WW that you could even refer to with this is New 52, were all of them got nerfed into the ground and while it's true that WW in base got even more nerfed than Hal she had unlike him at least her God mode to fall onto. 2): 1.Post Crisis WW had the more powerful Godwave she could just use shorter(which wouldn't even matter) and could just grab the Gauntlet of Atlas for an explicit 10 times multi for strength, so you have not even a point. 2. Even New 52 WW had lightspeed feats, and you do literally nothing else but trying to lowball WW(you're just really bad at it, and pretty ill informed) here. 3. I don't know any powered canon versions too slow to touch Thor, but to be fair a non Godmode New 52 WW would indeed lose to Worthy Thor. But that would be around as reasonable as to create a Post Crisis WW vs Unworthy Thor DB. 4. To say Classic Thor would be the same character like Modern Thor is looking at the insane inconsistencies that causes already hilarious enough, but that you're honestly confident enough in your blatantly lacking knowledge to believe this WW from the DB vs Thor would be even remotely an "amalgam" of her best feats is just straight up insane. technically he doesn't. he exists in a different timeframe than the rest of the world and has the power to alter that timeframe's relation to the normal one. This means he can be faster than almost any speedster by cheating (it's like adding extra turns to combat at will), but can't actually use the speedforce for the REALLY broken stuff.

The next video that isn’t on your list is Naruto vs Ichigo (the protagonist of Bleach). I can’t think of any reason it would be off your list for spoilers since I highly doubt that you’d be reacting to either show. I definitely recommend that one, it gives a great insight into 2 of the Shonen Big 3 (the Big 3 were the biggest franchises running in Shonen Jump for several years, the third being One Piece). Every time Thor shows up in a death battle they find a new speed feat for him so he gets progressively faster and faster, hahahah. Unfortunately he’s just not prepared for the absolute insanity that is DC comics. Based on their feats for this battle it really wasn’t even remotely close. That shield that broke at the beginning of the fight wasn’t the Aegis, it was just some random normal shield lying around that Diana grabbed. The Aegis was forged into her bracelets and only comes from them. Though we did see Thor break the Aegis when she defended against Mjolnir on the moon.

Ichigo Kurosaki is from the anime Bleach, I highly recommend watching it its really good and it has 366 episodes and 4 different movies that can be watched at certain points as you progress through the anime. I used to love watching it back when it was being realesed weekly and I miss watching it. Also all the episodes and movies of Bleach are English dubbed aswell. Bleach's story is very interesting and it always kept me intrigued and on edge plus all the fights were epic you won't be disappointed. There's also some good news that apparently there's a new season of Bleach in the works so just have to wait and see for that it's been a long time since we've heard anything about Bleach continuing but the creator was in talks about continuing the story which I've seen evidence on so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it goes ahead.
