The whole video was so interesting! I was wondering about the men and women potentially marrying someone from their own bloodline but I was very surprised to learn that many women move away from the islands and the men seek out women from other countries. I'd love to meet a Faroese man! I'm interested in their culture.

The killing of more than 1,400 dolphins in the region sparked outrage in 2021. At the time, the chairman of the Faroese Whalers Association told the BBC that while the number of dolphins killed was excessive, it was accidental.

With no natural trees, over 300 days of rain annually, lots of basalt, some places only reachable by ferry and helicopter, no large ports, few sustainable food crops, and only rabbit, sheep and fish for meat, not to mention its HIGHLY remote location, the Faroese kill the whales and dolphin FOR FOOD. They do not do so for sport. It is a very old tradition for them. The meat is not wasted. They dry it, ferment it, store it for long winter sustenance. I love animals too. But people must eat. These animals are not endangered species either.

I've been to the Faroes several times as part of my business to do with adventure tourism, I do it for the money ( from Denmark) and volountarily there's no chance I'd ever visit, the weather is appalling (I'm half Scot) and the food worse. Culturally the area is a disaster, the women pissed off for good reason. If you like sheep, terrible food and almost permanent rain (along with killing dolphins) then great.

Beautiful islands - to watch in a video but, due to the horrible whaling as well as the close connection to child-sex-trader Denmark, this is what these islands will stay....beautiful to watch in a video . Maybe there's a very good reason the women from these islands move away 😪

@@lifederenglish You can find a little bit about the horrible trafficking via EU's Agency for Fundamental Rights...the rest of it, will cost you quite a lot of research... I am lucky, in the way, I know people from most countries on our planet, who are helping me to clarify the correctness of my research... A good start is the Danish West Indies (Virgin Islands), Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Congo, Ghana, Haiti, some of the Central-- and South America AND within Denmark 😰 Likewise, research the Religious organisations and, you will find the majority of these Satanic/Luciferian perpetrators...be careful though....many of them are more than willing to kill you and, if they are not able to get you, they "simply" kill/completely destroy everyone you love, care about, friends, colleagues etc etc Denmark is NOT ok and, I truly hope everyone tied somehow to this place, manage to become free....Faro Islands, Greenland, the West Indies and all us still alive, who sadly were born there.... ...the very oldest Colonial and, the very first to start Human slavery and Trafficking...and, still going on - I truly hope, the place will be stopped finally this time... Similar was happening in Ireland and probably still is. The Irish economy was booming from the mid' 90s but it was leaving many rural folk behind. 'Bachelor farmers' was becoming a thing, as with a net income of less than Euro10k pa it was difficult for them to attract a wife. However, what they had to offer was very attractive to women from poor countries especially Eastern Europe. Good for the gene pool tho' eh?
