If there were people like her in every facet of life, I would've known how to budget my finances, fix my own car, figure out calculus AND know how to do my hair. It is refreshing watching someone who not only knows their stuff, but also knows how to inform you and not be condescending. This was brilliant!!!

Sis, thank you for gracing the internet with your presence! It goes without saying, the level of professionalism you have while still being extremely personable is amazing. However, it’s the simplicity in which you explained everything that did it for me. Basically had years of videos, articles, and blogs given to me in less than 5 minutes, is it an issue of protein or moisture? Now I feel I should go reclaim my time from these other posts. 😂

I love her honesty and straight facts. With my natural hair I have been through so many obstacles from following new fads like clove water rinses/leave in s,to leaving in protein too long, then covid and losing loads of hair. And only now 2 years later something she said made so much sense. I would shed short pieces of hair every single day and no matter what I did I could not control it. I finally went in and had a big chop done which helps some, but I still continue to shed hair and my hair almost seemed like a Brillo pad and I became so flustered and frustrated. As a last resort I did end up changing my shower head and adding a filtration system and that seems to have worked wonders. But listening to these tips have made such a huge difference and now I know what my hair needs and I'm so grateful. Wish I was close to you because I would definitely come to see you. Thank you for being so informative and keeping it real!

Some people have different textures in one head of hair. Like myself. The nape of my hair is has a loose “S” wave pattern, the crown has a tight “S” wave pattern and the front has no curl pattern just straight and frizzy and this is not due to heat or color damage. My father’s head of hair is the same, therefore it’s hereditary ☺️
@ForbsieLaLaАй бұрын
That is me my back is tighter than my front. My hair only gets heat 1 every 1-2 months and that is blow dry on medium heat
@Flourishcurls_salonАй бұрын
98% of people have different textures throughout their head, it's completely normal to have that. However, some people have intensely changed their texture due to different actions they've taken with their hair. This woman in particular was coloring for years and pulling her hair in low buns and its stretched out a texture that was already loose to begin with. This video is only speaking to that group of people who may be in the same boat as to why those textures are significantly different
@maxxitee476129 күн бұрын
Guess we’re related 😂. I have the exact same 3 patterns in the exact same places and I got it from our grandma. Lolol. Like you I saw these 3 patterns from the get go of the big chop and it has grown out to about 8 inches in that very same way.
@jasminer.672128 күн бұрын
Lmao my nape is this weird wavy frizzy texture. throughout the crown and top are tight s curls But the sides are like o shaped.

She is so correct I went natural during the pandemic and had some color left over in my hair. Since the salons were closed I cut my hair and then when to the salon to get a big chop. That helped some but I had protein and hydration issues (also because I didn’t understand what was going on). Once I got it all in balance with my curly gray hair it’s finally hydrated and protein balance is on point but 😅 it took a lot of patience and not giving up….so please don’t give up it will happen. I get a lot of compliments and my hair is easier to style and I don’t use as many products to style. BE PATIENT much success to all who are going on this journey 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏾

Let's talk about, the wonders of rosemary. I'm natural and rosemary, keeps my hair, nearly invincible...
@BL3SSed-Bliss25 күн бұрын
Would you mind sharing your rosemary routine? I.e. Oil alone and/or spray; ingredients and frequency of each, leave in vs wash out, et al. (Anything else you'd like to share, in as much or as little detail as you'd prefer.) 🤓💚😇
@Jboog74225 күн бұрын
@@BL3SSed-Bliss Yeah, sure! I boil a few rosemary leaf strands, along with cloves, and let it sit over night, in the pot. Then I extract the strained water, into a spray bottle and massage my scalp with it. Of course, you want to have, another moisturizer, like shea butter, to keep your hair from drying out. The rosemary and clove water, is an extra addition. It naturally, prevents my hair, from falling out. After months, of leaving my hair, in a protective style, on wash day, barely any hair is lost...
@rjones474814 күн бұрын
@@BL3SSed-BlissI don't know this person's regimen, but I used mielle rosemary mint product line (shampoo/deep conditioner) and noticed fuller hair. I do believe rosemary is beneficial for hair growth. I am transitioning away from Mielle because the ingredients have changed.

wow, thank you. I notice that my natural hair has very littl bouce in the front. it's very straight and the back has that snap back. i used to do the twist hair for years and it looked so nice and shinny. then i did some blow outs, still no chemicals, but the heat for the straight look. so now i know why i got the very straight in front, now i just go, get my hair washed and roller set and wrapped. no heat except under the dryer. i am waiting to see my full, full, full natural hair bounce back. because at one point my twist out natural curl looked very nice, now it doesn't. this was when no one was wearing twist out. i used to get so many compliments and it was just twisted up in a ponytail i used pink oil orginal only to get the shine. and air dry. but thank you for this info. it is well needed in the black girl, woman, child community.
