Oh no, being able to build a stratified society and also mark the beaver social class onto their tails. This totally won't end in feudalism... :D

Ever since Timberborn was available to play, I always thought it was weird that the beavers were made to be land-based in this water game. It's funny how players thought that they had to always build a bridge over shallow water. It only became realized later on that paths can be built underwater because, well, BEAVERS SWIM. It's great to see that beavers will now actually be able to have their homes underwater like in real life!

For the Batteries, even in normal mode, since you build the battery at the top of whatever structure, they start fully charged.

As a note for his dev console powered resoviour, in an actual game he would actually want to make a small one first that sleuces out bad water to a side path off the map so that the main resoviour doesn't get any during the bad tide events that occasionally turn water bad instead of having a drought.

Vertical power shafts was one of the two major things I wanted in this update. The other is curved staircases, so they go up and rotate directions on the same tile, instead of having to have one tile dedicated to remaining flat in order to turn directions, or having to build stairs straight-on building's entrances instead of parallel. If they add that, I'll be in beaver heaven.

depending on how many water sources and how much water do they release is the quantity of water you will be able to manage to the max, some maps come with little water so you can only green half of the map or else in a drought you will kill a lot of stuff like trees, bushes, crops and even beavers. You also have to manage the water evaporation.

Btw Pravus, in the terms of service you have to agree to making games for the creators of plague inc. for Official scenarios, and it says you cannot deny it or else you will NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE another scenario. So basically, you're agreeing to do free labor for them. I think they might fully depend on it, considering we haven't gotten any official scenarios in like.. what feels like forever. But don't they have a team for that, of course, but their making the main game, not official scenarios, because "Rely on the terms of service so we can get something that we didn't make!" They say they credit it, but I'm assuming they don't, I think the festive Neurax worm was from a fan that was afraid of getting banned from making scenarios. Like why? You have something called a team that you're already paying to do this, so just use your team?!

With regard to your stepping waterwheel system, you can also create a closed loop perpetual motion machine by attaching a water pump at the end to pump the water back into the reservoir. If you have enough water in the system, you can even generate excess power to leech off for your industry.

I wish someone made a video (you) showing the best creations around. I usually spend some time checking what creators are doing, but one needs to go through one hour of video and usually end up seeing very little engineer/building action.

This update was always going to make or break the game, in many ways… … and it looks like it’s ‘make’! (I mean, it was a good game before, but flawed in the late game and with the water physics… and they fixed it in spades!)

23:00 You could make it work if the overhangs weren't all built on each other. Stop one tile short of where you want the support pillar to be. Then build the pillar up to the right level and continue building overhangs from it. Sure they won't technically be supporting each other but it'll look like they are.

I'm enjoying the update so far, but I wish they'd included ladders as well. I know there's a mod to add them, but I'm not keen on mods as they tend to break the game as often as not.

I wonder if you can abuse pumps to bring energy to whereever you need it.
@SephirothRyu3 ай бұрын
Pretty much, but they do use power to work (and I forget if they need beavers working in the buildings or not). So its better to just build a long power shaft to send the power where it needed directly. And now that there are true vertical power shafts instead of only step-stair type, not to mention the overhangs, you can now easily build elevated power lines.
@kaltaron12843 ай бұрын
@@SephirothRyu Guess that makes more sense.
