That dude with the card did NOT like being on camera. I'm wondering if he's a wanted felon and this appearance leads to his downfall... he'd kept away from cameras for years! YEARS!

Was Kai Budde's Mono Red artifacts in this competition? How did it do? If it was, I'm surprised it didn't get further in as WotC moved away from land destruction.

I have a question that doesn't nessarily pertain to this video. I'm aware of the huge hobby of collecting and trading cards. When people are buying these extremely expensive cards like "black lotus", do they actual play with them? Like, are the highest levels of magic card games just two people playing with a 3 foot tall deck of graded slabs?! It seems like when a card is that valuable, it becomes obsolete because no one is going to play a deck worth that much.

As someone who runs the Pokémon version of Ancient Tomb in a commander deck, I'd just open my backpack right there.

Spoiler Blocker At the end of the third game, I read "snow-covered plains" as "swords to plowshares" and was genuinely confused as to why Thoralf drained all of his life to Channel...

Funny enough you could run 50 on them in a deck at one point
@CardmarketMagicКүн бұрын
This is correct, although it probably never happened. The rules of having maximum 4 cards per deck came within the first year of the game existing and there was no real secondary market back then so it would have been hard to assemble any real amount of the same rare

Personally, I'd prefer to have moxes in play rather than a lotus. Without recursion the lotus only works once, the moxes are just another land drop. In the long run you get more value from moxes than the lotus unless your deck focuses on consistent artifact reanimation

Turning noncreature permanents into stuff that can attack is in essence a really cool gameplan, and being able to inheritly fling them at any target is awesome too, but it not gaining haste, only triggering once per turn, GOING AWAY at the end of the turn, Crash Land being random and then also needing to be crewed is ATROCIOUS!
