I think it's more about the surroundings than the village itself, you can't appreciate anything just by passing by. I also went this year and became my favourite place in Turkey, but stayed 4 nights and went to see the balloons up close 3 times, once by horse. You are the second person that i know that didn't see the balloons. Maybe in the next video...
