Been a while since I've seen this! On the dog opening doors, it's probably like Yuki closing the window frame and just ignoring the broken glass and wind blowing her hair. The doors are probably open if not outright broken, but in her delusion of course they're all fine and would be closed during class. So when Taroumaru jumps through the open doorways which she sees as closed, as it's from her perspective it's as shown.

Nah, the doors are actually in good shape, Taromaru is just a surprisingly smart and dexterous little guy. There's nothing as persistent as a puppy determined to get into some Forbidden Shenanigans, and they ARE just sliding doors, it's not exactly a complicated operation. But we know Taromaru can actually open the doors, because... well, you know, later on Taromaru opening a very real door to wander off is a pretty major plot point.

there many hints this are the ones that i remember -"Dormitory" - Papers renaming the rooms -Miki reading "The Stand" by Stephen King -Shovel -Theyselfs Making breakfast at school - I an not sure if is on this part but many times we see the windows broken in the background -Miki lack of care for interrupting -Blackboard text -the blockade -Rooftop gardening in the class ours - you can actually see the zombies walking zombie like in this scene -hard tracks

we had like, a older students sleepover once a year at my school, well they had it when i joined but they stopped it before i could participate. Something about downgrading becasue the buildings separated and the funds were cut smaller and it was between this and self governence day so they choose sleepover to cut

I remember going into this anime half blind. I knew there were supposed to be zombies, but i just thought the outbreak was gonna be a slow burn until that reveal at the end. This is one of those animes i watched so long ago, but it's never left my memory. Even if i had completely forgotten the name of it until now.

Gakkou Gurashi is definitely a great series. I didn't watch it for a long time because I was reading the manga and didn't want to get spoiled. Though going back afterwards and watching the anime was interesting, especially comparing it to the manga, seeing what was changed and what was kept the same. Also, the opening for this anime changes quite a bit throughout the series, it's not a major thing if you'd prefer to skip them, just something that's fun to keep an eye on.
