"I am a world before I am a man." To me: I'm a part of a whole in the beginning. Then I realized I'm much more as my self and can do more than just be one tiny part. "I was a creature before I could stand." To me: we are all animals and just another wild creature. Then finally I was able to rise up to be so much more. I can be something greater. For me the song is realizing I'm much more than what others want to make me. I need to get up and be my self now BEFORE I FORGET. Also I'm one that can help the world if I do more.
