Well, this answers the question I posted on the first video of yours I saw. I've often wondered why 5 string banjos terminate the 5th string at the 5th fret instead of the headstock. A tunneled 5th string is an ingenious way to get rid of that side tuner and still not have a 5th string to trip over below the 5th fret. I've built a few guitars. When I get some time I'm going to have to try my hand at building a banjo.

I thought that looked like a texas shaped inlay on the fret board, never saw a banjo like that one before. So thats sorta the predecessor for the Nechville style banjo necks. Thanks for the info into the Banjo behind... I mean in front of the Banjoman.

You can't talk banjo's to banjo dorks like us and not tell us what rim/ring combo you have in there!! Its like telling somebody about your muscle car and not telling what motor/tranny combo you are using!!
