All four of the girls are very different than their on stage personas. When they are on stage they completely embody the feminine yet badass ideals of Blackpink, but off stage they are completely different. They are still some of the sweetest, most humble people you'll meet, even after years of being some of the biggest, most iconic stars out there. You'll genuinely be surprised at their real personalities once you start getting to know their off stage selves. For instance, Rosie seems to be the only real Extrovert of the group, though sometimes you'll see Lisa and Jennie listed or tested as extroverts, it probably depends on when they test as they probably lean more introverted if they are touring just because of the nature of always being around huge crowds. Definitely check out some of the behind the scenes stuff or documentaries.

Great reaction. You asked about Lisa, my bias. Lisa is a lot more innocent than she appears. The only male that she has ever been really tied to is her rumored current boyfriend, Frederick Arnold, President of Tag Heur and son of the richest man in Europe. You also asked about Jisoo. Jisoo is very complicated. Off stage, in real life, she is the comic relief of the group (often acting like the youngest one even though she is the oldest, balancing bottles on her head, making anime creature sounds, total gamer). Jisoo is also the nurturing mom of the group (making sure everyone is well fed, not missing meals, is happy or if not try to help them). Jisoo also makes the most savage comments, including ready to get confrontational with YG VP's when they are making unreasonable demands (while the other 3 members sit silent). Jisoo is also the most mature of the group when it counts (willing to accept having the least lines and least face time in music videos, willing to be the last to solo, saying everyone needs to accept their place in the group so that the group can succeed). From a sexual standpoint she seems to be very innocent, such as when she sees people being racy saying, "wow, is that how adults act" (even though she was 25 and a full adult). She was the last one to solo, and actually seemed reluctant to solo. Yet, her 2023 album holds the all-time record for sales by a solo female Kpop Idol (yep, more than her fellow members' albums) and her Flower music video from that album had more KZbin views than any other music video that came out in 2023 from a Kpop or Jpop act (male or female, group or solo). And second wasn't even close. So she seems to be least concerned about individual achievement yet by all accounts she is the highest earner in Blackpink, primarily because she is also one of the most high in demand award winning Lead Dramatic Actresses in Korea and is one of the if not the best compensated brand ambassador in the World (Dior, Cartier). While the other members are laser-focused on their music careers, Jisoo talks about wanting to travel and live abroad for extended periods of time, and she talks about expanding her acting career. She grew dreaming about being a sculptor or writer. Before YG her focus was on acting, not Kpop. But she was advised to start going on auditions to get experience. Her first and only audition was with YG, who immediately accepted her into their Trainee program. Typically YG only accepts the best performers from dance/singing schools. Jisoo had no experience in dance or singing. For example, Lisa trained in dance from the age of 5, was competing nationally at the age of 10, at 13 she auditioned with 4,000 other talented teens in Thailand and was the only one selected for the YG program. Jisoo just has something magical about her that drives her to unexpected levels of success.

A great next step would be one of their official vlog series "Blackpink House" (2018), "Blackpink Diaries" (2019), "24/365 with Blackpink" (2020) or "Born Pink Memories" (2022). I would suggest to go in release order and see if you like them. The members also have their own KZbin channels with their own vlogs (and other stuff) and there are of course countless interviews or variety appearances. Of course there are also fanmade "introduction" guides, but those usually work better if you already know them a bit (since they usually contain inside jokes and short clips or funny "facts" without any context).

They certainly have different on-stage and off-stage personalities. They all have fierce personalities in the music videos and while performing on stage, but they are really sweet when the music stops and they are not performing. It is evident when you see their concerts they put on a great show. After you watch the music videos, you should check out their Coachella performances, Pretty savage and Pink Venom. It's a different experience than the M/V, and I see why they are so good.

Good reaction. Not all their videos are very deep and thoughtful, but this is one is. This is one big FU to all their haters. They are not turning the other cheek ("DDu Du DDu Du" is the sound mimicking gun fire and they are gunning down their haters with their finger guns during the chorus). They are talking smack to their haters ("I don't care what people think, I give it to them straight" "we are pretty and savage" "whatever you say doesn't faze me" "My hands are full of fat checks, ... go on and fact check." "Think twice, I don't pretend to play nice like others" "you are too predictable" "what are you going to do when I come through (as in what are you going to do when I am even more successful and your attacks have just been a waste of time)"). After debuting each member had been attacked. For example, Lisa had been getting racist threats of physical violence so much so that the Thai embassy in Seoul felt compelled to get involved. Jennie was the focus of a lot of hate for being a lazy dancer, demanding that she be dropped from BP (that has gone away with many spectacular live performances), and Jisoo had been targeted as the Black Hole of Blackpink and was virtually ignored at fan signing events (accused of adding nothing but a pretty face, Jisoo is now recognized as tremendously talented and has gained a tremendous loyal following). Numerous Kpop idols have been driven to suicide by vicious social media attacks. In the Jisoo falling scene, at first the men are focused on Celebrity Jisoo on the wall mural, ignoring or just not caring about the real Jisoo standing right next to them. But when she falls (has some type of embarrassing personal or social moment) their focus turns completely onto real Jisoo, and they transform into masked assassins using their phones as weapons to finish her off (symbolizing internet netizens that use their phones for participating in social media attacks on idols). But in defiance, Jisoo stands back up, fully determined and committed to facing and overcoming the onslaught of hatred she is about to experience. And NOT committing suicide.
