Awesome trout Thonny, good job! I haven't tried the Zodias but I did buy a Shimano Teramar XX rod for pompano jigging this past season, fantastic rod. The rod is very light and thin but is still very strong and sensitive. I also purchased a Shimano Sustain FJ and man, what a combo, tore up the pompano with ease. Next time your looking for a new rod, give the Teramar XX a look.

Great video Thonny. where you are standing, according to fwc GPS location of the southern end of the Big Bend region for speckled sea trout, you can keep 5. Thanks for only keeping what you needed.
@Thonny Жыл бұрын
Good to know! Thanks Eric
@sizzyp3324 Жыл бұрын
So yes 3 Speckled trout , slot size is 15in to 19in . But they have what’s called “ memorable / trophy limit for sea trout . “ a trophy is any individual that is greater length than the max size limit . That fish should be included in your daily bag limit . “ So basically you can keep one over 19 inches but it has to be one of the 3 trout you keep and added to the bay limit . I just learned this the other day .
