Really, Japan needs more foreigners?? Why? Even if he is a good person(foreigner) what is the reason Japan needs more Gaijin??

@@yoshishimizu4056 I think that this is not meant to be discriminatory against Japanese. Bringing in new perspectives from outside can be very helpful to find new ways to position traditional Japanese products internationally. Due to the shrinking population many good companies close because of lack of successors. In some cases, foreigners can be perfect candidates. I think that every society benefits from a controlled inflow of hard-working immigrants. There are many examples of aspects of Japanese culture developing from foreign influence (Tempura, Castella, Noh, etc.). All cultures are somehow connected with each other to a certain degree. There is no such thing as "pure culture" and we all benefit from interaction.

@@anything-from-japan-san: all noted tks. A controlled inflow of immigrants: agree Tempura/Castella/Noh: First two are from Portugal while Noh originated in China it's eventually modified to Japanese taste. nothing to do with immigrants. Shrinking population: Japanese government should do something about it; salary is too low before considering immigration. All cultures are somewhat connected... no pure culture: agree but cultures interact with one another without immigrants. Of course, you are aware of what's happening now in Kawaguchi-Shi tks to........ Everybody knows that a lot of illegal immigrants are shaking USA. Anyway, immigrants are a double edged sword?
