This was the computer fact i'd heard before: 1948: The world's first stored program computer was invented by Freddie Williams and Tom Kilburn at The University of Manchester.

We didn’t want to join any world war, we didn’t start either world wars, nor were there any world wars in America Which the narrator was speaking. Our military was created for DEFENSE, which was Pearl Harbor. We were pulled in. Belford declaration deal by Britain to make us join the war. Britain gave land that they didn’t own as an award to force us to join. Which is causing issues today.

Think about the difference between a street or highway you drive on without tolls (that you pay for with your taxes) and one that you drive on with tolls. See the difference there? And note that Europeans don't go bankrupt b/c of their health care costs - which are one of the leading reasons for Americans going BK. (Oh, and you won't ask this question if you become very ill and get hit with some big uninsured costs, which happens a whole lot more than you'd like to think...)

Here’s the biggest thing you miss with customer service. You go to a restaurant, sure they hand you a menu but they might have specials that aren’t on the menu, you don’t want to hear what the specials for the day are? Why do servers come back to the table, well maybe your meal isn’t cooked to how you want it. Maybe an item is missing from you plate, maybe you might want a condiment, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, steak sauce, etc! Maybe you want a refill on your drink! You might need extra napkins! Isn’t it better that your server comes to your table instead of trying to track him or her down? Let’s say your clothes shopping, your looking for pants. So the sales person asks if you need help, yes I’m looking for pants, the sales person then tells you they just put pant’s on clearance on the far side of we’re your looking. If they didn’t help you, well you wouldn’t have got those pants for half off! You’re only cheating yourself by not using the services that places provide for you! Most people that work in the service industry will give you the best tips on we’re to eat, or a good bar with entertainment, they will tell you about good shows or hotels. They will tell you about the best shops and the best deals, saving you tons of money! But hey you don’t want to be bothered, left alone! You don’t like trying new things because you don’t want to be out of your comfort zone! LOL!

You arent listening to him. He didnt say American music is better, he said we started the genres, ie. Rock 'n roll. He's saying if it wasn't for the American rock pioneers that invented it, those other groups like the Beatles wouldnt exist. As for landscapes he said America wins due to the sheer volume, not that it has the best mountains or lakes.

The Beatles covered lots of American artists. Love the Beatles. They were the best, but they were most definitely inspired by American artists.

he's saying that we came up with the personal computers.. the first is reckoned to have been the antikathera device, which was relatively recently found on the sea floor in a the hold of a sunken vessel, dated to about 2,000 years ago. so maybe the brits developed the scientific and/or business computer. what does google know, anyway?

We all love the Beatles, but The Beatles have said their music was influenced by Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Ike Turner, Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, The Everly Brothers and other American artists.

I agree that Europe has some amazing landscapes as I've been all over the world. You have a point with the Alps etc, but I still give our mountains the edge. The Rocky Mountains, Yosemite in the Sierra Nevada range just to name a couple. But let me say this: I don't like this video too much because that narrator is taking the position that the US is just better than Europe in most every category. As an American, I will say Europe has much more variety with the various countries. I've been there a dozen times and will continue to go back. The notion that any one country is better than another is shallow thinking. One big thing he forgot to mention was the Internet which was created here in Los Angeles at UCLA and made its first data transmission to Stanford Uni, also here in California. But it was a Brit, Tim Berners-Lee, that invented the World Wide Web (www) which made it usable and accessible to the masses, so one hand washes the other.

European landscapes will never come close to the variety of landscapes the US has. From Arctic to subtropical and we have some of the best beaches in the world. USA will always be much better than Europe.

You must haven't seen the landscapes here in America.....We have landscapes where it looks like you're on another planet.....Sandunes, salt flats, beautiful mountains, even a place dubbed 'America's Swiss Alps' that looks like Switzerland, we even have places here that looks like you'd be in Iceland, like Glacier National Park - Montana, Kaaterskill Falls - New York, Cape Perpetua - Oregon, Mendenhall Ice Caves - Alaska.......and even more...All in ONE country

As an American raised in the south (Texas), I find people from other areas of the country have different opinions on what is rude. The Europeans I have met here have been lovely people. I have heard that Americans are considered to be rude and we have our fair share. I believe that most states have some beautiful landscapes. I love the plains are beautiful but most people don’t agree. I wish I could travel to Europe to see all the places people rave about. The beaches in Texas are not pretty. The gulf waters here look brown due to the silt stirred up by the current. And yes, we drive a lot! Here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, there is limited mass transportation. The cost of medicine, hospital stays, operations, rehab, doctor appointments is painfully high. It might be really good but too expensive for many.

The US contains every single major biome type whereas Europe definitely doesn’t. The landscapes that Europe is known for are similar to some in the US, but many things in the US aren’t seen in Europe.

Cost of gasoline or petrol is high because they need to pay for the free health care. VAT tax in England is, what?, 20/22 percent??? In US it runs from no sale tax in New Hampshire to 5 to 7 percent in almost all states. . California is higher at 8.8%

America has 32% of the world's museums, at 33,082 total museums. Even per capita, this is much more than any country in Europe. Also what is the alternative to a Personal computer?

As far as music goes, American music has gone to hell since...I'm not sure when it started but by 1990, it seems. Most of it sounds like AI...no talent. Before that started, it was great, but I don't understand why other countries always listen to American music or its clones. I'm sure they can write their own. Regarding taxes, we don't have federal health care, which like many things we DO have, is unconstitutional on the federal level. It erks me that Europeans criticize America without knowing it is a FEDERATION and really, should be involved in almost nothing but diplomacy and military. Most Americans seem to have forgotten that and politicians don't care about the Constitution. One or two states have health care, the lawfulness depending on the state's constitution. What we are taxed for is pure graft that benefits politicians in America AND foreign countries. One example that didn't happen was the proposal to make Americans pay for the global warming scam. Another was a banking "emergency" where the American People had to hand money over to banks...mostly European banks. And how about the Biden Ukraine scam? Also, when counting our taxes, European countries don't have state tax on top of federal, which may bring the American numbers up to the high end. We get federal, state (except for ~4 who overtax in other ways, but don't tax income), county, city, etc.

Most Asian countries love American music, what are you talking about. When I went over there while I was in the Army there were karaoke bars that only had American music to sing to. There are Asian pop bands and Asian rock, Metal, and rap. So it is insane to say they don't care about our music.

One thing USA does not do well compared to Europe and Japan is American Chocolate! The common milk chocolate bar brand "Hershey" Chocolate tastes like vomit to International KZbin reactors who have tasted American Hershey Chocolate especially Sweden and Japan! Hershey is just one chocolate company but Hershey's is the most common.

I agree that Hershey's is not so good. Unfortunately, like many types of goods, there are small companies who make great chocolate, but they can't commercialize like Hershey's has. That is probably a good thing.

Yeah Hershey is the most popular but the Big Mac is also the most popular burger. Neither represent the best, but they are the easiest to access. That being said, this American will freely admit chocolate in Europe is much better. For me, it's the stuff in Belgium that hits the hardest.
