While she definitely was too harsh in how she rejected Ava, the dance industry is very subjective to looks and height. Sadly, if you’re too tall or too short for a team, they won’t take you regardless of your dancing talent if it’s a team that does a lot of group dances. Usually they want all of them to be around the same high so the taller or shorter one doesn’t stick out.
