I sort of knew these already. Not well enough to teach it beyond pointing out why this paragraph is good but this one (with the same information) is not. Several of your examples were things I do most when proofreading a story. You explained it well though. For the most part when I write something that gets the story out okay I print it out, if it is hard for me to read even knowing the actual story is good I look for what makes me want to put it down instead of turning the page. Mostly it is two or three of the examples you pointed out. Doesn't really change the story, but does make it flow. Thank you Miss Cole
