Claire du Musc…. I wear that stuff often and love it. Good to hear you t walk about it. I love musks except one synthetic muck chemical that in Musc 25 from Le Labo and in those Madison Margeila concoctions and in some other perfumes which I absolutely hate. I have a couple of vials of real Musc…nd , yes…it’s soft and ethereal and fluffy and beautiful. I didn’t expect that. MKK, Fleur de Peau, Claire du Musc, Musc Tonkin, and Musc from Acamparo are my favorites.

I love Red Tobacco even though it is a Mancera man’s scent. Mancera perfumes are very good and not overly expensive and I like many of them.

Mriga by Prin Perfume, you gotta try this brother! Prin Lomros has created a synthetic deer musk accord which is damn close to the actual one! It fooled me for a bit as the real thing and I have 17-18 compositions loaded with real deer musk! My respect for the perfumer has increased a great deal...

I can only imagine how crazy expensive a vintage bottle must be and if I ever win the lottery, I’ll buy one, for me and for you… Oh I wanted to let u know that Lee of Fragnanimous has Coromadel EDT decants for sale. While supplies last. I own both edt and edt and I love both, the edp lasts longer of course but the edt is more full bodied and chocolatey, white chocolate. It’s worth buying a decant. I love perfumers who are NOT IFRA compliant. Can you mention which perfumers are not IFRA compliant? I’d love to buy from them. I don’t think you’ll make a video of this topic . But it would be great if u did 😅

My favorite synthetic musk so far is Gris Charnel Extrait. I like the way the musk goes with the cardamom tea and wood. It really delivers, at least for me, what the stories tell about musc ravageuer. Musc ravageuer on the other hand I could barely sense and musc and it was mostly spice. It feels very very safe and not a "sexy" type sent. I feel like it's a very safe sent. Wore my sample to work to use it up. But that's just my thoughts I grew up in the 80s with stuff like Kuros, Farenheit, Drakkar, etc.

Vintage musc ravageur with the matt cap hits closer to what you would expect...but the new stuff is super sweet 🍬

@Ramsey I've heard that a few times. I also heard there was a similar fragrance called Meherees that I may check out. I'm not sure what vintage bottled of Musc Ravageuer go for or if it would be worth it for me when I have Gris Charnel Extrait. I'm amazed that musk isn't listed as a note because it's huge I'm there. The owner of the company even talks about it during an interview that musk was very important. The regular version is too sweet but the Extrait just smells like tea, wood, and musk to me. Worth looking at if you haven't.

@@RamseytheRam make sure to get the extrait and not the EDP. I'm pretty certain you may find the EDP too sweet for your taste. The extrait tones down the sweetness and adds more musk.
