I've never been asked when attending an NHL if I'm LGBTQ. When I went to buy a couple beers, the person behind the counter did not ask if I was LGBTQ. There's no rule prohibiting LGBTQ persons from attending a game or buying a beer or two while cheering or booing in the stands. The NHL also does not prohibit LGBTQ persons from being employed.
