It's a cool concept and you really can only put small items that already fit in your pocket because if you suddenly need it to become a hoodie again, you have to carry the items you put in there. But cool way to store the hoodie when you don't want to carry it around folded.

I found that if I take a travel pillow case and fold up a small blanket into it I can stuff the pillow case with stuff and sneak a 2nd carry on since you're allowed a "pillow"

​@@emil9718 it's actually a hoodie-backpack, not a backpack-hoodie, so it has a little bit different use (i mean that main thing about it is a hoodie, not a backpack). It's also pretty good when you are going somewhere like a shopping center or something like that and you know it's pretty warm there, so you'll need to get it off and do something with it - you can just wear it as a backpack and forget about it, maybe even put some stuff that you bought in there (in a bag, of course, since you'll need to get it off later when you wanna wear hoodie)

This would actually be pretty good for travel. You could throw your frequently used items in it and when you get to a hotel or something, take them all out and you'll ha e a hoodie for the trip. There's pretty limited uses but some of them are pretty cool.

Alternatively, you could have a draw string bag that could easily fit in your pocket. If it’s too warm, you can tie the hoodie around your waist. At no time do you need to worry about taking thing in and out of the bag. Also, it would be cheaper.

I have been using my Quikflip for over a year and a half. It is by far my favorite hood. Excellent product that works exactly as advertised. Oh and you do NOT have to turn it inside out to convert it. You just take it off and reach in the pocket and pull it through. So easy and well designed.

I think the point of this item is to store your hoody and maybe stuff you had in your pockets. I don’t think the backpack is for taking extra stuff. It’s just for the hoody so you don’t have to carry it if you get warm.

I bought the hoodie lite one, not the classic, pretty recently, and it was a very good purchase. Wearing it like a normal hoodie or drawstring backpack is fine, but then sometimes you come into the issue of needing both the hoodie and the backpack at the same time. So, I also bring a separate drawstring backpack when I wear this. The backpack is durable but very thin and can easily fit inside the quikflip in backpack form, without taking so much space so you can still put all your other stuff inside.

Living in a coastal town on L Michigan , it's almost always important to have a sweat shirt or hoodie near the coast (with in 5 blocks or so) but suddenly it's way too warm 6-7 blocks out that's a nice idea rather than taking off the hoodie and having to carry it.

Howdy Mr. White! It's been so awesome to watch you review the quik flip. I commend you sir on your camera work because that was pretty terrific as well. I do have a quick flip & almost returned it. It doesn't work great when you're at 7000 ft elevation with 25 mph winds. The good news is, I found out I'm moving back to VA yet sadly leaving AZ behind. The better news, I can keep this convertible marvel & take it fishing with me because it does turn into a backpack! LOL I'm now waiting on your review of moving boxes & which will be the most durable since I have the Extraordinary Eight coming with me. Plus all of their food, treats, toys, crates Etc. One Con I can think of is when you have a bag full of stuff and it gets cold. You would need a second bag stored in the first bag for something like that. Packable duffles could work well. But do you need both?

My one question is how well do the straps appear to be attached? I would almost be afraid that over prolonged use that the straps would break off just based off the video here and how it appears to be supporting the weight. This is one of the few ASOT type items I'd consider buying. Even at $55, if it's well-made then I'm good with that. I've seen t-shirts even back in the 90s that sold for $70+, so... yeah. Go for a hike or something in the morning and it's chilly. Wear it with your waters, phone, etc in your pockets, and then when it and/or you warm up then you can carry it on your back with the same stuff in it. No need to tie it around your waist or anything like that. At the same time, I have a backpack/cooler combo that allows me to carry ice, drinks, sandwiches, etc, and all that and when I shed my fleece I can stick it in an outside storage area as well as my phone, charger/battery packs, etc. Bottom line: I'll stick with what I have as it's been working for 10+ years and still holding up, but I can definitely see a use for this.

So, when I wear the hoodie, where do I put all the stuff that was in my bag? I've seen some jackets with a ton of pockets to carry a ton of things and wondered how much it would sag with all that weight, and then wondered where to put it with all the stuff in the pockets if I wanted to take it off. Wish I had a bag then. There's a good reason why most people have a jacket and a bag and keep them as 2 different items.

I can see this being useful for skateboards or rollerskates. I hate having a backpack on while I skate but if I need to get on a bus or in a supermarket, I could just put it in the backpack Kind of expensive tho
