I think you should take a small machete or something similar for the next Straight across mission to cut through the dead bushes. And also maybe waders with suspenders for the rivers. Love the series from Latvia.

That idea crossed our minds and we realized that we want to do as little damage to the surroundings as possible. During autumn it is also luckily not that bad. Waders is also a decent idea. We would have to hide them near the crossings. I think we even considered it but because we would have to remove our boots anyway and the only bonus is that you do not have to suffer the cold, we figured it is not worth the hassle. Although if the logs hadn't been there, I would have been very glad if we had waders 😅😅😅 Thank you for the support😊

Tom here! I'm using Quechua mh100 from Dechatlon and Iti is using the same just women version. We chose cheap and light boots because we knew they will get muddy and wet. We didn't want to use expensive boots because we would ruin them quickly on a hike like this. Hope you got your answer! 😊

I wanted to see the footage how did you cross the railroad (2 times) and the Bērze river.

We crossed Bērze river in episode 2. Actually we have crossed 3 railroads at this point but we decided not to show it in the video. We didn't show it because once police came behind GeoWizard's (the guy who inspired us to try this challenge) door and asked him to remove the clips where he was crossing the railroad. Apparently this is a bad example for teenagers or smth like that. I don't believe the police here in Baltics will whine about our video but we wanted to be safe and not include those clips at all. Hope that explains it.

@@TOM-ITI OK, I understood about the railroads. And the timeline in your video is wharping my geographical knowledge about the places you visit. Maybe because I know better the area between Tervete and Krimunas than area you were crossing in this video. So in my mind you were not that far that you really were in this video. :D
