This is wonderful! Had chills going down my spine and I was watching in broad daylight. Haven't read HoL in a while, but this brought back all the feelings I had while I was reading. While I'm not in favor of a movie adaptation of HoL, if there were ever one to be made, you'd be wonderful to work on it! You captured all the essential scenes so well with the kids, the wheelchair, and the camera pointed out the long hallway. Just amazing.

thank you for your kind words! I personally don’t think it would be possible to faithfully adapt the original content but with this short I hoped to capture the atmosphere of the Navidson expeditions and the nature of the house itself 🏡 🕳️

I was so impressed with the growls at the beginning, how that pulsing, organic rumble so perfectly matched what the words of HoL already had me imagining. However, I think the rest of the soundtrack would have benefitted a lot from going 50% less hard, especially on the endless string risers.
