SPT actually fixes most of the problems the average EFT player bitches about (such as lighting/visibility) through mods. Its the superior Tarkov. Just is.

They pretend they do not understand what "downloadable content" is. Any game feature is a part of game content. Sure, they have to run single-player on their own servers to prevent 95% of piracy. To pay for this they should have sold SP separately for $20 - 30, having apologised and explained to EOD owners that this is the only feasible way to have SP developed and running. The rest of the content is content, DLC is DLC. Thus, must be included into EOD. For many customers, the main selling point for an expensive $150 EOD version back in 2016 - 2020 was that it includes all future content (downloadable one). It was a lot of money in 2016 to take from life and family and invest in the future. This is like construction workers charging you extreme amount for a bathroom renovation and you agree to make a deal because they include 10-year warranty. In 5 years they ask for extra unheard money because the warranty "does not cover electric wiring because this is a bathroom and not an electric power-station and they did not mean it was included".

Man your tone on this video is the same I felt when I found out about this, I feel like I heard this something broke inside, not because of the scam itself, but in fear that a game that I love and enjoy a LOT and payed for EOD to support BSG was rooting for them even if they fuck up a bit but it's in general always fine, they're flourishing as a company and I expected EFT to possibly become one of the best games in it's element. But hearing this just made me realize that they possibly just killed the dream... Don't worry, even if the company disappears, the game's distribution will always be available on your PC storage. You can use this distribution together with the SPT AKI server emulator and install any mods you want to make the gameplay as close to the official online as possible, or, on the contrary, turn this game into something new.

I bought the EOD edition about 4-5 years ago out of pure fear of the experienced players in this game and feeling like I needed a boost in supplies and weapons to balance out my lack of knowledge. I rung out $150 for a game which back then was a big price tag but justified it because of they claimed there wouldn’t be a higher edition than EOD and all future DLC would be included. I felt that was a smart decision to make back then but now, with this editions release, I am filled with deep regret. My disappointment in BSG is insurmountable and I am deeply saddened by this news. This was my first wipe I made it past level 15 (I’m a noob don’t hate) and it sucks to think this may be my last too.

Absolutely unacceptable that EOD players don't get this. BSG is quite literally spitting in everyone's faces who supported their game by buying EOD. I Hope BSG either gives the new things to EOD players as they promised or they get sued. Until either of those criteria is met I will not be playing this game. I suggest everyone to voice their concerns on every platform possible and to uninstall the game and not play it in the meantime. The community must be heard on this.

I’m completely fine with the two radio items (reinforcements and %50 discount) being in the game. Locking them behind an edition WAS NOT IT. They should be post Kappa, light keeper quest related items to add incentive for him, and they’re good enough to the point where it’d make sense putting them post Kappa imo. But they shouldn’t be anywhere near a price tag! Not IRL money or even in game roubles/ euros/ dollars! Would’ve been such cool additions if they were related to end game quests.

4 years ago I spent $150 of EOD (standard edition to EOD upgrade). 3 years ago I stopped playing because I didn't agree with the decisions BSG was making on some of the balance, and the game just wasn't fun for me to play PVP. 2.5 years ago I stopped playing most FPS and PVP style games, because I work too much, and am too tired to deal with that BS. Today I learned that Tarkov had PVE, something I would really love to do, because I do love this game, so I login to my account, look around, download the game and think, yea, I have EOD, ill get PVE. I looked at the shop, and I can purchase PVE for $100. I literally couldn't care about anything else. $100 for PVE. Uninstalled. Maybe ill come back in 4 more years. As a side note.. I looked at my 2020 EOD purchase email. "Free access to all subsequent DLCs (Season pass)". Guess that was a lie, as im not getting this DLC.
