As for the starters, Steph needs Draymond to exploit his best play. If Green is anywhere near hos previous self he gets the other forward spot. I'd bring Kaminga of the bench as a scorer and dominant player, and start Jackson-Davis and Pods who is a connector. I appreciate what Moody brings to the game but Pods is a facilitator like Green and best on the court. After that they easily have 5-7 guys who can play. Aside from an unproven center role (though I do believe in Trayce), they have sufficient talent to compete. It will come down to team chemistry, Kerr giving new players a chance to acclimate themselves into the system, and players accepting their roles.

Ppl are too nitpicking about starters. Draymond could play 24 mins off the bench and 20 of those minutes could be with Steph. Looney could start and play 15 minutes. Personally Id rather Draymond be reserved because Podz plays best on ball and Anderson is a better perimeter defender, younger and bigger than Dray. Steph Podz Kuminga Anderson Trayce gives us a defense with versatility having 3 guys over 6’8 and a lineup that makes teams fear us in the paint

Aslo STOP SNUBBING BUDDY! he literally is the 2nd best NBA shooter behind Steph. better than Klay. They need points and consistent points. Brandon is good but he is a year 2, bench squad PG. It should be Steph, Buddy, Wiggs, Kuminga, Draymond. its easy. why would you leave a 42% shooter on the bench. They got Buddy to replace klays shooting after all so start him and drain 3's. Not doing that would be stupid. also it give the warriors great size and help defense. a 2nd year player isnt going to start and if he does then Steve Kurr lost his mind. The worst part of the warriors is the NON STEPH minutes. So leave general Brandon for 2nd team and from there you have lots of room. also SLOMO can really change defense so throwing him in the mix is a must for the 2nd team.

The problem with that 5 man line up is DEFENCE…they’ll be giving up size in the paint and their perimeter defense will be atrocious as well If you say put Kuminga and Wiggins on the opposing two best players that leaves an issue of size with steph, buddy and Draymond being heavily undersized Plus Buddy is just a cone on defense, if you thought Klay was bad, you need to watch buddy hield play defense mehn😭😭😭😭

To be honest the warriors shot themselves in the foot with this. They got rid of Poole and Wiseman which I think both could have been HUGE contributors. Unfortunate what dray did to Poole. Kerr refused to play wiseman and he’s now become a journey man because of that (playing behind Jalen Duren). They should have just let wiseman play and struggle, which in turn would make him learn faster with real in-game experience.
