Nah, most of these devs teams are filled with DEI hires. All the talent got replaced and forced into the indie scene or left the industrie entirely. 10 years of DEI hiring and people wonder why most games are shit. I guess ill share my thoughts and how I see games currently, honestly for me I see games as a way to enjoy and have fun.. just because people put on so much effort on a great trailer doesnt mean the gameplay might just be as good, and I can respect that.. but I guess it also matters if youre paying for game in Beta , sure its in Beta sure it still has bugs and its will surely be fixed but, have we not learned so far? Not all games in beta turns out good in the end, sometimes right from the start its just not worth the investment, and I hope I wont offend anyone but, the fact that we pay for such games is a way for companies to make more games that are just as bad, sure they will release good and bad ones but.. we really shouldnt throw away money out of the blue , but ofcourse its your money and I respect that, but its also the start of just another game that isnt for everyone and the cycle continues.. In the end although I have respect for the companies that make the games, its just that not all games that comes out are good , and I just hope we the players research and wait for games to be much more polished before deciding wether it is a good game or a bad game.. and again.. not all games are for everyone

This feels like it was made to appeal to everyone: - Overwatch fans can use the discount version of their favorite character and hear familiar hitsounds (they are the exact same) - boomers from Quake 3 can relate with the hitscan weapons being absolute ass, because in a "real man's game" you predict your opponent's movements - activists get their inclusivity points because you can see the pronouns of aliens and a ROBOT - 10 year olds will not get absolutely owned by better players because they won't be able to use the character they're stronger with (you cannot use the same character for more than one turn in their "competitive" mode - 5 year olds will like it because everything is brightly colored and sparkly - the "videogame hipsters" will appreciate the fact that you're not speeding through the map like in the latest CoD rendition and TTK is more than a picosecond (the game is EXTREMELY slow paced) Sadly, the developers have never heard of the saying "if you try to appeal to everyone, you'll appeal to no one" so this game, too, will be a huge fail.
