Aren’t you so happy for your wood stove! I’m so grateful for our wood cookstove we are packed with snow. It came down all day yesterday a fine wet misty snow. Wow great way to do the croutons I’ve always baked mine but they would probably hold up better being fried and loved the idea of the Italian seasoning on them yum! Stay warm Moss family. We just came off a 21 day church fast that muffin looked so yummy I seem to want to eat everything in sight!

We live about 35 minutes from Tallahassee Florida and we have 5-6” on the ground of snow. We’ve really enjoyed it. My husband was pulling the kids in the intertude behind his truck. This is the first snow for us since February 2010

I put local honey in my herbal tea and green tea too. Good idea to make croutons from hamburger buns. Tomato soup will warm you up. Manley is the cutest with his commentary helping make muffins.

Try this, I’ve always loved a grilled cheese sandwich with my tomato soup. So one day I tried this, and after a few tweaks it is my favorite pairing. I make a grilled cheese while my soup simmers. Once it is done, I let it cool completely. And then with a sharp knife ( I flatten the sandwich with my hand first) cut the sandwich into small cubes. Then you can toast them to get crisp on all edges, but be careful, they will burn quickly. I top my bowl of soup with them and it is really good. * I like to add some oregano to the inside of my sandwich before grilling*

It’s 13 degrees here in PA. Can’t do laundry bc the pipes froze. They didn’t break, that’s a bonus. I made pepperoni pasta casserole for supper. 1, to use up extra sauce & cheese & 2, bc I wanted the oven on to warm up the kitchen. No snow, just absolutely freezing

Our Walmart was a nightmare!! We live in the southern most part of Mississippi and we got like 6 inches of snow! I did pick up the better goods wings you recommended and our boys ate them all!! I paired them with potato skins and cheese sticks with marinara! It was great!

✍Hello Moss Family...When It snows the kids are usually out playing⛄ but haven't seen any outside at all. When I was growing up we couldn't wait to go sledding or play in the snow⛄ no matter how cold it was. At the end of the streets was hilly and when that street would freeze over with ice and snow we'd go sled riding till supper time. Sometimes some of the parents would stand at the top and bottom of that hill watching for cars and we'd sled ride till even after the street lights would come on...oh what fun we had. It's been in the single digits and at zero degrees 0° since last night and my water pipes to my bathroom tub and sink are now frozen. Tomato soup sounds delicious. I made a pot of Northern Beans, fried potatoes and slices of ham I had frozen from our Christmas ham that we decided to freeze for another time just like today. I'll probably make a pot of soup out of the beans that were left. They're better next day anyway. I love seeing your kids outside playing. You and Titus are great parents and your kids are going to have some good memories when they get older. Lemon poppyseed muffins sound delicious and with a cup of hot tea ☕ yummy! What now lima beans in the tomato soup? We love butter beans but never been a big fan of the lil green lima beans. We saw the video of you making that soup. We tried it, now are fans, delicious. Homemade croutons are also great crushed up and sprinkled over cooked pork chops or fish!
