Cell phones are the worst thing to ever happen to us. If you look up the statistics of wrecks before cell phones versus now it’s astronomical now. But also Southerners can’t drive in the rain 😂I live in NC and it’s just as bad here. Thankful you guys made it home safe and sound. ❤

Hi Karrie The hotel looked really nice. Your son was so cute. The party looked like a fun time. So happy you all had a fun time. Now that trip home was a scary trip! God was watching over you all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I always say if you feel something is off go with your gut feeling. People just drive crazy and use their phones it's so scary. 5 yrs ago we got hit from behind here in Florida 20 minutes after we bought a new truck. It was a semi young guy driving using his phone texting. When we pulled off the road a couple stopped to be sure we were ok and yelled at this guy driving the semi for texting and driving. The driver of the semi said please don't call the police. Red Flag so I was sitting in the truck still and my husband was talking to the driver. I was talking with the couple that stopped. We are from Pennsylvania so I said I think I would call the police and they agreed so I did. He had a suspended license no insurance and his company was so mad at him. The step mother of the driver came to us the next day and we went to a shop to get the truck fixed and she paid out of pocket to fix our truck and paid for a rental car for us. I felt so bad for her because she had a disabled son in her car that she cares for all a line as she was in the process of getting a divorce from this young kid that was driving the semi father. And he gave her the money to pay for his son causing this accident but he didn't want to deal with us. I felt so bad for her. She said this would be the last time because the divorce was going to be finalized that week and she was so glad to be out of the father always paying to keep his son out of trouble. We went to get checked out and only had muscle aches from the accident for a few weeks we did some therapy for a few weeks. The semi was carrying large metal underground pipes. We could have been hurt very badly. I know God was watching over us that night. I am still afraid of traveling and don't want to be out after dark. So love your channel and your sweet family. 🙏 ♥️

I hate to travel but my husband needs to go and do something different. Soooo, my favorite thing about a trip is my husband cleans the INSIDE of our van (which puts me in a very good mood). It's a trade off, he gets his trip and I get a super clean van.

Oh my what an awful trip home, so glad you made it safe and sound. We had visited my son who lived in Fort Lauderdale and were from MI. My butt didn't hit the seat from the top of FL to the bottom on 75. I told my husband never again.

I am a procrastinator. And I never get my butt going when I do. I’m going to order both those products for our truck. We have the black step rails too. And we have a lot of scratches on our truck. It’s twelve years old. And it’s always a mess. Inside and out. We use the same kind of paper plates. Where I live in Georgia it’s cold. I hope it’s warmer where you’re going. And they didn’t get any snow. We didn’t get it. We’re north of Atlanta. No one in Georgia knows how to drive. We moved here from Ohio. And we noticed that quite a while ago. I’m sorry that happened to you. My husband is Avery defensive driver. I had a guy on 75 near Cincinnati who put his car in reverse to go back to the exit because of traffic. I had to slam on the brakes. He put his car back and drive and started again. I think it’s everywhere. We live in the country, we saw three deer the other night on our way home. We had someone who either dropped their phone or a cigarette and was in our lane on one of these two lane roads. Thank god, my husband noticed and stopped before we got close to him.
