Yeah Joe. I try and do as much video editing in reaper as i can because its just quicker and easier than premiere pro. Haha. It has some limits but... for most basic stuff its great.

I don't work with video but I watched it anyway. Great video and soundtrack effects...all in 14min!!! Its amazing how versatile Reaper is...esp with Kenny showing us how easy it is to work with!!!

watched this a long time ago, just came back and it saved the day. basically, wanted to get screen recordings of VSTs. using Windows game bar, the FX windows are not captured. However, you can dock the FX window and bring the docker to the top like in this video and then it will be included in the screen grab. Heck yes!

The potential for making Reaper into a live music and video production tool is mind-blowing. Imagine being able to mix your set live (already possible in Reaper) but with accompanying perfectly synced visuals that can react in real time to your music!!!!!

Really good video. I knew that Reaper could do video but, when I open Reaper, I see it as my "home" for audio work and my video software as "home' for doing any video work. This is just my preferences. That way, whatever software I am using, I find myself "in gear" to do that kind of work. Mixing the two wouldn't work for me.

Thanks so much for this series. I've needed to learn some (basic) video editing capabilities for things like sound redesigns and creating a demo reel, but I think Reaper will serve me just fine for that! Nice that I don't have to shell out a bunch of cash and learn a whole new program just to do simple video editing.

it's strange, in my video, with any manipulations, there is a blinking, as if the frame disappears.I have removed all the crossfades, but it still flashes when cutting, when fading, in general in any conditions

Hello. I'm new to using reaper. I was attempting to dock the video player and big clock to the top like was shown in the video yet I cannot figure out how to make the docker split screen to show video and time together. What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Talks too much like a robot, explains things (but) a lot of it he dont tell you (why) your even doing it to begin with! I just cant follow him with not understanding why and him talking in a robot voice with no explanation just instruction!🤬🤬Maybe some of his videos might be ok ill have to check out but not high hopes!
